Treshan muttered to himself. "Those cruel-hearted humans..." He looked at Rose. "Follow me, you will be safe here, with me and my pack... welcome to the shadows..!"

Amaya tried calming herself down, and fell into an uneasy sleep in the cave. She could hear a water trickle above her, and it soon woke her up. She padded outside the cave, but was still looking around with that 1,000 mile stare. She didn't know exactly what happened, or who her pack was, but she was pretty sure they were dead. Her mind tried to reason with her that they weren't but addressed the ground and muttered to her feet. "They are dead....all dead..."

Rose nodded. "Thank you." she murmured.
Guuja was on the hunt, moving swiftly between trees and over the lush grass near the edge of her pack's territory. Hearing voices and smelling strangers, she raised her hackles and became wary, but remained silent. She sensed that they were on their own land, and since she hadn't crossed the border, no one was committing any infraction. Still, the knowledge that there were others so near quickened her heart.

Lilian wasn't meant to be awake, but she wanted to see Guuja hunt. She tried to hide, but she saw a small creature. Lily chased it around silently, however she accidentally stepped on a twig. She stared at Guuja, alarmed. She was frightened of getting caught.

Dymeh had stayed back where he had seen found the two wolves. While he was interested in the health of this pup, he was way more interested in sleeping. Slowly padding back to the small hole he called a den, he became more aware of the tiredness that was so eager to consume him. He practically fell down, instantly falling asleep.
Amaya saw Treshan with a new wolf, and came up out of curiosity. She had her tail between her legs still frightened. When she saw Rose a sense of recognition hit her. She thought she might know this wolf even if distantly. She felt her legs moving her forward, and her tail wag as if totally against her will. She found herself going up to the two wolves, and attempting to nuzzle Rose. She let out a few pitiful little cries. She still couldn't say what she recognized about this wolf, but she did.
Rose blinked. "H-Hi." She said to the new wolf.

Treshan looked at Amaya, then at Rose. "You...know each other?"
"I..I think so." The pup said shyly. She wasn't sure, but something had definitely got into her head. "Still don't remember all the way...." She didn't like that her memories weren't clear, but she hoped that this wolf knew something. That she recognized her somehow. She was sick of not remembering, and being in the dark.
Guuja turned her head toward Lilian. She was always on edge so near to the territory's edge, but on realizing who it was, she relaxed. "Why are you out so late?" she asked casually, she wasn't a very strict leader at all and didn't mind all that much.

Rose suddenly nuzzled her back, her scent familiar. "You...smell like...my sister's pup." she said, softly.
"Probably." The pup whispered "Did she die.... I saw both my parents dead..." The haunted look reentered her eyes, but she stayed close to Rose, glad for something that was familiar. Ordinarily this pup was brave, and sassy, but the loss of everything was hitting her hard. "How did you get out?" She was eager for any news of her pack for good or ill. "Do you know if anyone else got out?"
Rose nuzzled her. "I think I saw a few others get out...and as for my sister...I'm not sure...I blacked out...and when I woke up...I was here." she said, feeling the pang of sorrow hit her.

Treshan saw how sad Rose was, and felt sorry for her. He neared closer to her and comforted her. It felt natural to Tresh, almost as if he needed to be near Rose. But he shook it off. "It seems like you have both had a hard time... but don't worry, you are safe here."
She looked at Treshan, her eyes somehow sadder than before. She was glad he was here, though.

(may I add in a small twist? Mainly based around Treshan) Treshan saw dawn coming. "I will have to go and hunt now... I'll make sure I get enough for both of you, too!" He smiled and hesitantly ran off into the distance.
Rose watches him go, not really sure what to do.

**MIDDAY**
Treshan stopped to stretch. He was tired of running already, yet he had only caught enough for 2/3 of the pack. Sighing, he saw a weak-looking deer in the distance and darted silently towards it. Just as he was ready to leap on the deer, it moved slightly. Tresh was oblivious to this and pounced, but soon realised he wasn't going to land on the deer. He also realised there was a steep cliff below. He fell down the cliff and landed on his head, and twisted his leg awkwardly, Howling in pain, he tried to stand but his head started t spin and pain coursed through his whole body.
