Bio: Orphaned from a very young age, Jax knows nothing of her true origin, but proved from a young age to be a natural Engineering talent. At the age of 12 she was brought to the station with a group of travelers, and by showing her skills was able to secure a place in the Enginering department, quickly rising through the ranks. When she was 16, a power core overheated due to the miscalculations of another Engineer. Jax was able to contain the explosion to the core itself, and save many lives, but lost, her Right arm and several months of her life, spent unconcious and healing, in the process. After returning to work, Jax built her own cybernetic replacement, with a bit of help from the medical department. The arm allows her even more function than she had like tool attachments and storage compartments, as well as being stronger than her human arm. Due to it not being permanantly attached, it must rely on its own power, making her unable to use it for more than 6-8 hours a day.

Reason for joining the station: brought to the station by chance and earned herself a job by fixing a broken probe she found.
