Larel and Alari both skid to a stop as they received Mary's message, Larel was a tad confused but Zenmaru just told him to get to Mera and gave him a direction to go in. Alari grit his teeth and set Kaori down before closing his eyes for a moment, he opened them as he caught Mera's echo, using her power made it a little easier to locate her, feeling an echo similar to that of the forest in a village was easy to locate thankfully. Alari looked at Kaori and reaching over put a hand on his shoulder, he pointed in the direction they were running before speaking not really ecstatic about what he was going to tell him. "Mera's father is here Kaori, keep to the shadows and go this way...she's that way," Alari said not saying Mary's name. If her father was here he feared his men might be in the village as well, Kaori nodded understanding and Alari gave him a message as he reached in his sleeve and handed a few talisman's to Kaori. Kaori blinked and took the talisman's looking at them and the strange letters written on them, Alari pointed to them before explaining. "These talisman's will protect you, if you place them on a creature other than a human it will inflict it with the curse, it won't work on higher class being so be careful. Imps and the such won't be able to resist it. If you slash at it the talisman will cut through their body and will hit their nerves directly, do this if they're human, it won't kill them, if you do it to a demon it will do the same but they'll recover faster. Under no circumstances place it on a human being, the curse will devour them if you do. The letters will disappear with each use, once gone the curse won't work anymore be careful of that." "O-okay Oji-san, be careful," Kaori said before Alari nodded and sprinted off, Kaori noticed Larel sprinting in the same direction and offered a small nod. Kaori took a step back into the shadows sinking into it, he clutched the talisman's to his chest before fading completely. Moving as stealthily as he could Kaori moved in the direction Alari had pointed to and sure enough after looking he found Mary...and some other woman. The two seemed to be conversing so he was sure she wasn't an enemy as Mary seemed relaxed with her. Kaori moved to the shadows in front of the two before stepping out holding his empty hands out as he spoke quietly. "I'm not an enemy, I'm not a fighter either, well I'm more of the first than the second one, actually no I'm pretty equal in both...no what I mean to say is I'm not a bad person promise I'm just a messenger for Mary-chan from Oji-san." "Of course it's not simple." Alari fell from the sky and landed next to Mera placing his hand down as he landed before slowing raising his body up, he looked at Thanos and with a sigh removed his glasses before placing them in a case and sticking them in his sleeve. Alari had the pleasure of hearing their conversation though he wasn't sure what was in Thanos, hearing his words it was plain to see it wasn't the man he had met before. "I'm not sure what's up with you Thanos...but going off what I heard you're not yourself right now. I suppose asking you to politely leave is too much." Alari looked over at Mera flexing his hands before he looked at the thorn covered house, Hotaru must be in there and hearing 'Thanos' mention Sybil he became increasingly concerned why. "Are you aright Mera?" "She would be if you would keep your distance." Alari looked past Mera to see Larel walk out of the shadows and stand beside Mera on her other side, he turned towards Thanos and brought his hand to the hilt of his sword and lowered his body slightly, Zenmaru told him to be cautious as the scent surrounding Thanos was inhuman. "I don't know why you bother conversing, this man's obviously a threat," Larel said. "Also don't stand so close to Mera-sama." "That man is Mera's brother Larel he's...just...well possessed it seems." "I could care less who he is if he threatens Mera-sama he's my enemy....Wait did you say brother?" "Yes and Thanos isn't doing this willingly Larel, even if negotiation isn't an option you shouldn't just start swinging your sword, if you intend on attacking at least avoid lethal organs." "....if he lays a hand on Mera-sama I can't promise my aim won't slip. Still if he's Mera-sama's brother I don't see him going down easily....are you sure he's possessed?" "I've looked this man in the eyes multiple times Larel. I've seen how he looks at Mera, look closely and you can see the difference." "I'll pass Mera-sama what are your orders? I'm ready to attack at any point of time I'll be lethal or non-lethal depending on your preference. Also just to confirm did I hear him say Sybil? I don't know what he wants with her but I wouldn't put my faith in someone who's already lost once." "You always choose violence," Alari said sighing. "Just focus on protecting Mera." "I don't need you to tell me that," Larel responded glaring at him.
