Keep in mind, too much change and it might not work. Mainly if Brysen's going to expect Emmet to volunteer without a little shove from Darius, namely cause Emmet rather not get too tangled up in affairs that conflict with his and risk his sister's life. 

On another note, the only reason Emmet and him would duke it out is because Darius tends to keep Olivia close. She actually lives in the same house as Darius's adopted daughter, both in private and the public eye. Mainly cause it's easier to control/manipulate someone who believes you want the best for them and not alternative motives...I won't say everything he pretends is untrue.
