I agree with Slade. Wording is important. 

Glitchy, this is why I suggested to you to change the first line of your Esper perk. 
It was this, I believe? "An esper is a rare human that manipulates essences using their mind."
And I said change it to this? "An esper is a rare human that manipulates their own essence using their mind instead of spells, writings, or chants."
Instead, you wrote this: "An esper is a rare human that manipulates essences using their mind instead of spells, writings, and incantations."

And now here we are, still discussing things that I wish would have been resolved long ago. But it's alright. I am hoping that you understand why we are stressing the point of wording here. 

There's a fine line to how each race approaches the use of essence and its main application: magic. Let me try to explain what I mean.
