To Ryan's word the stranger immediately turned around and pointed a knife at him. He expected it, but still pulled back a little, just to be sure. She asked how long has he been watching. Maybe she didn't finish yet, he thought. He also saw that she was the suspicious kind - you had to earn her trust first. Much like himself. "For a while now, sorry for surpising you." he finally answered the girl's question. "I saw what you did with that man over there. Impressive, I must say! I don't think he's gonna last long in a basement like that...May I help?" he saw before how much she did for the man and he wanted to help too. The more survirors, the better, after all. A little silence followed all this. Ryan took this time to examine her a little more. She looked a few years older than him, but he was larger, just by a bit. She was most probably Japanese. Even though they didn't talk too much to each other yet, he felt that she was really caring. Because of all the thoughts suddenly racing in his head, he even forgot to introduce himself. "Oh, where are my manners? My name is Ryan. Ryan Baird. I'm from a nearby village, or what's left of it. I came to the city in hope to find fellow survivors and to take shelter for night. I found this house to be the most sufficient for the latter. I didn't know that there are other people there. Nice to meet you. What's...what's your name?"
