Zal is a friendly sort and tries to befriend or enjoy his time with anyone he meets be it ally or enemy. If an enemy or ally consciously refuses to show respect to another however, Zal tends to become eager to teach a lesson to such a person as no matter the circumstances all should have respect for one another. In regards to himself he is very strict and sticks tightly to the promises he makes as they are his word and if he were to break his word then why should he have any right to enjoy himself as he does.

[b]Backstory[/b]
Zal cannot, for the life (or unlife as the case may be) of himself, remember any specifics of his own life and what he did. He does remember a few things, for instance his name is Zal, which he assumes his parents gave him. Another is that he remembers his parents faces, vaguely. Though there is one thing he remembers most clearly, that a friend of his by the name of Lusua went off to a war being fought, and that Zal had wanted to go with him at that time but for some reason could not. But whatever it was did not stop him for long, as the last thing he remembered was heading of to join the war and find his friend and fight alongside him.

Zal wears a helmet that serves as a mask alongside its original purpose. He wears a ring that to him poses no significance that he can remember. he also has a simple sword.

Zal is fairly agile and slim.

[b]Weakness and Fears[/b]
being forced into a situation in which he has to break one of two promises to continue on is horrible for Zal and hes afraid of such situation and therefore is usually very careful about what he promises and to who. Also he doesn't have any idea how to use a sword.
