Yeah, I think good Gods aren't necessary to the story; it's much more interesting with all of our Princes of Ruin running about.

Though I have to say raptorman, that's an interesting Prince.

EDIT: And NewSun, while I don't like the idea of having good Gods I would wholeheartedly support there being a group of humans who are dedicated to fighting the Princes of Ruin. So long as they're not like omnipresent and pervasive all across the world.
