[/quote] true but it still doesn't mean that the previous stories are gone, you can still enjoy them. also technically it is only once every ten years or more that the continuity changes in a big way, between those years only minor changes are made but the origins and crossover events are still canon, like I'm pretty sure all of the Green Lantern crossover events that were written by Geof Johns are still canon. in truth the New 52 didn't restart everything like Crisis on infinite earths did, it pretty much just did a few changes and start off some new series, just now it is more easy for new comic book readers to get into the DC universe. i know it can get confusing or annoying when continuity changes, but you can always just pick up the old stories and enjoy them, like Harry Potter is done and there won't be another series but that doesn't ruin the joy of reading the books. in my opinion continuity changes shouldn't discourage people from liking comics, there's plenty of old comics to enjoy.
