Jacob went with Jade willingly, shooting a death glare back at Cancer. [i]Wonder if he knows something I don't. Still, that was a bad move on my part. Shouldn't have started banging on that dome like a goddamned gorilla. Man, I'm losing my edge. Hell...that's honestly probably a good thing.[/i] Taking a deep breath, he smiled at her, noticing her clever use of her levitation to meet him at his height. "I get what you're sayin', but what exactly makes me special here? Fact that I showed up at the last second?" 

Rubbing the back of his head, he turned in the direction she pointed. "Yeah. Yeah, I got it though...maybe it's time I stopped worryin' bout other people so much. Take care of myself and all that." he hung his head again and turned back, nodding at Jade before starting on his way back to the Academy.
