Don't worry too much about that. I've been helping with the RPGN for the past month and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future, so I'll be sure to get something about WOTM in whenever it's relevant. The reason there's nothing in this edition is that I wasn't sure when the voting threads would be going up, so the choice was made to not put up a vague note with not links to new threads. The next round of the news shall have a notice about the WOTM #3 Guidelines at the very least, and probably an announcement of the winners of #2. :sun
