Frenzy's tendency to lash out at anyone who reminds him of his size would make him a textbook case of Short Bot syndrome if it weren't for the fact that he'll lash out at nearly anybody for almost no reason at all. He's a follower, not a leader, and his ambition is limited to making trouble and hurting people. He can usually be found as part of Soundwave's throng of underlings, but he's also been known to tag along with Barricade—that guy's always tracking down somebody to beat up.

He is not a chatty transformer, preferring to only tell what needs to be told. He often sneaks about, patiently looking for Autobot transmissions to report to Megatron
