Kaori flinched at the words and he stared at the ground not really wanting to answer that question, he wasn't sure how much longer he would be able to do this. Alari told him not to say anything but it's not like he could keep it up forever, he was a horrible liar after all and it hurt to think about. He couldn't hide the expression on his face it was too hard to try and smile when he doubted it so much. When Eryn came in he felt a tad relieved since the subject might change but when Raina spoke of Alari he flinched again seeing that wouldn't be the case, worse off he was sure Eryn just explained who he was which made it all the more difficult to just play off. Kaori just wanted to get away from all this but going outside wasn't an option, he'd be dead within seconds especially if Sybil was out there. Jin sensed Kaori's discomfort and popped out of Kaori's kimono, he landed on his head before yipping. "Jin what are you doing out-" Kaori started talking to Jin but stopped when it felt like something was reaching into his skull. Jin spit a ball of blue fire out causing it to expand and cover the small area in front of Kaori, a dome type energy enveloped the area and Kaori and Alari materialized in front of Kaori within the dome about human size. "No...." Kaori said trailing off as he watched the scene from his memories. Alari was shown speaking to Kaori in the village and he said message to Mary which Kaori had already delivered. Kaori pointed to his hand before speaking telling Kaori the final part of his message. "Mess up her hair and tell her to stay out of trouble," "Why do I have to do that?" Kaori asked. "I wouldn't like my hair messed up and I'm pretty sure Mary-chan's probably older than I am." "Don't worry about the reason just go ahead," Alari said. "Now Kaori don't mention this part but I'm going to die soon. I'm on my last legs here but I need to make sure everyone's safe first, I'm going to set up a talisman to counter what that accursed woman will do." "Zenmaru you mean," Kaori said. "Yeah my hold is weakening in my current state, coming back before took more out of me than I thought. Letting Zenmaru out will cause her to influence Larel, that would be extremely bad without a control. Thus I'll have something in place, regrettably Larel won't kill me with this I'll end up killing myself to put it up, please make up something for my absence. 'I have to vanish' works just fine." "Oji-san I don't really like this..." Kaori said. Alari ruffled his hair and nodded his head as he moved his hands in his sleeves. "I don't like it either Kaori, but I know she'll do something. We don't have that much time so please do this. I know Larel wouldn't miss me but if Mera found out...I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I put her through any pain...I have to keep my promise but I don't want to hurt anyone while I do so." Kaori watched as Alari rubbed the bracelt on his wrists, Kaori couldn't recognize the look in Alari's eyes but it was a distant one, something rooted deep in Alari showed for a moment but it faded as soon as it came. "Okay Oji-san...uh...you'll...you'll come back right, like you always do," Kaori said worrying showing on his face. Alari averted his eyes at this and his eyebrows narrowed as he didn't answer, Kaori's eyes widened but Alari turned his attention back to him and smiled before reaching over and patting his head. "Don't worry about me...just do your part. I'll get Mera in Larel's care she'll be safe with him. I'll unlock the seal a bit so he has a bit more power...just make sure Mary stays safe. If I save Mera and Mary get's hurt then we still lose. Remember Mary's our friend so we have to make sure she stays safe and everyone else too." Alari reached in his sleeve and handed Kaori the talisman's before the vision of the two faded as Jin yipped again. Kaori kept his attention to the floor and put the talisman's back in his sleeve with a small sigh. "...sorry...Oji-san made me promise not to say anything...but I believe Oji-san wouldn't just die like that...he...he wouldn't die...Oji-san promised me he wouldn't leave without saying goodbye and he didn't so he'll be back...so...I have to believe he'll come back...if no one's waiting for him he might not come back." "Hahahaha ah I love that about you Mera, that tenacity of yours always makes me smile. I ever tell you that I love breaking strong people, that broken look in their eyes gives me more more excitement than cutting through a dozen humans," Zenmaru said grinning. "My guilty pleasures aside let's watch, its not everyday you get to watch two good friends try and kill each other." Larel's body lowered a bit as Sybil agreed and ran at him, she was fast keeping up with her was hard enough but he readied himself to respond once she was close enough. When she closed in on Larel and stabbed at his gut his eyes went immediately to the tip of her blade. "Did you know Mera," Zenmaru said. "That Larel could have dodged that Kunai when Hotaru tossed it at him when they first met. Instead he let it hit him because Larel knows one thing about catching his enemy off guard." Larel turned his body slightly but didn't try to dodge the blade, he dropped his sword and let the blade stab into his gut his eyes narrowing as it did but he braced himself and grabbed Sybil's wrist the sword still in his body. "The best time to catch your enemy off guard is when they have the upper hand," Zenmaru said grinning. Larel summoned the darkness from under the ground and dark hands grabbed Sybil's ankles before another grabbed her free arm by it's, he reached forward with his free hand and grabbed Sybil by the back of her head. He pulled her head toward his before putting his lips to hers, as he did blood trickled out of his mouth as he forced the blood into her mouth keeping a firm hold on her to make her swallow it as he tried to keep a firm hold with his darkness. "I was speaking to Larel while you were giving your orders, we decided to use a little deception. Larel pretended to get rid of the blood but only cut his own hand spilling his own blood. Even if Sybil got the scent Larel is a human being, it'd be a subtle difference since it was a female's blood but a little goading would help keep her attention off it. When I put my hand over Larel's mouth during my speech I put the blood in his mouth, I am darkness after all that blood went right to me." Zenmaru let the blood of the woman run along her fingertip before licking a bit of it off as she continued with a smile. "All Larel had to do was make sure Sybil was close enough, on the ground and the attack didn't hit any vital organs, granted he felt bad about last part of the plan as he was sure it was rude but you gotta make sacrifices sometimes. All of this to follow your orders and help his friend, that boy's innocence truly astonishes me." Zenmaru clapped her hands together truly happy to be a part of Larel's soul, she lowered her hands however as a smirk formed on her thin lips hearing Mera's words. "Feel free to use your imagination for an answer to your question Mera-san," Zenmaru said an almost giddiness to her voice. "I just came out to personally watch, we should focus on those two, I'm hardly more interesting than what's going on over there. Still I love the despair that shows on the face of humans, it's so beautifully pathetic hahaha."
