Kijani woke up to darkness. For a brief, half-awake moment, she thought she was blind, and flung herself forward. It was then that she realized she'd fallen asleep reading, again, with the book taking up residence over her face. "I really...should be used to that." She yawned and stretched her long limbs, and got up to go about her day. She had barely unpacked from yesterday, so most of her things were still folded in her massive suitcase. After pushing aside several pounds worth of reading material that she'd brought from home, she picked out a nice looking button down shirt and a pair of jeans, pairing that with her favorite flat shoes. She hadn't been dressed for physical activity yesterday, and was determined not to make the same mistake twice. She packed her notebook, fresh loose paper, and spare reading material in her bag, and was off. Her stomach was roaring for breakfast, and she was determined to make up for yesterday's embarrassment.
