"Aha! I knew if I turned my clock back an hour, I'd wake up in time for class!"

And there it was. The first wrong declaration of the day. Wes got up early enough to get through any misfortune the morning would throw at him with enough time to get to class exactly on time!

Except that wasn't how it worked. Rather than setting his clock up an hour before, he just ended up properly setting his clock for Daylight Savings. If he had set it to ring earlier, [i]maybe[/i] he would've succeeded, but unfortunately, he set it to a time that would result in him waking up around five-ten minutes before class would start. Unfortunately, he didn't realize this yet, so his morning was surprisingly uneventful. 

"Haha! I think my luck's finally changing!" he chirped happily in his blissful ignorance as he went through his morning routine.
