Crash After spending the best part of half an hour trying to find his room earlier that day(because he’d fallen in the pond and the letter with his room number on had turned to a smudgy white pulp) Crash placed the last of his things out on the side. Which in fairness were not an awful lot...He owned very little, probably because he broke things on a regular basis. He tucked a tattered old photo album inside his desk draw, picking up a surfer style shark tooth necklace he pulled it up around his neck tying it as he walked over to his window. He leant his arm on the edge of the window frame above his head as he watched the sun set in the distance, intricate warm colors danced across the sky. He imagined the sun’s rays dancing and laughing as the dodged away from the envious night that clawed its way towards them, forever doomed to chase them but never catch them...after all...ooo butterfly. He shook his head as the butterfly fluttered past the window, he stood back and stretched he had showered earlier washing away the grime from the pond. He reached for an ironed...yes ironed burgundy red dress shirt, pulling it over his bare torso, he rolled the sleeves up just under his elbow before starting to do it up. He had a new pair of dark jeans on and he’d had to wear smart black loafers, his trainers were out on the balcony drying. I hope it doesn’t rain... He shrugged, picking his phone up just before a message beeped onto the screen he almost dropped it out of surprise. His eyes flickered to the message before down to his watch as he grabbed his I.D card shoving it into his back pocket. Within a matter of seconds he’d closed his room door and was jogging down the hallway, trying to close the last few top buttons of his shirt as he ran. He opened the door to the stairs with his butt, spinning into the stairwell grinning as he successfully poked the last button through the hole, he almost spun into a nervous looking boy who was stood talking to someone. He stopped himself just in time, a flicker of relief apparent on his face as he exhaled a quick apology. “Sorry...wasn’t watching where I was going” He rubbed the back of his neck as he turned to see who the other student was talking too and at the same time felt his face flush with color. whoa... Was the first thought that hit his mind. Dude you’re blushing, stop it! “H-hey Kathy” He grinned, with his hand behind his head. And you stuttered?! Pull yourself together Crash cleared his throat, flicking his hair out of his eyes the color dissipating from his cheeks as he spoke again, more confidently. “You look great!” He smiled having regained his composure. Since when did he do awkward embarrassment? Serena Should have worn jeans... She shifted uncomfortably outside the party, yes, she was wearing a dress somewhat awkwardly. Her tails were somewhat of a nuisance as they twirled low to the ground behind her, her dress was azure in color and long in length. She took a deep breath before pushing the door open to the party and walking inside, relieved when she realized it was already quite busy. She moved forward and blended into the crowd, well as much as one with tails could blend in...she only stopped moving when she was sure she was at the back of the room away from the entertainment section at the other end. This was a bad idea... She felt anxiety spring up inside of her, so many people here it wouldn’t be long before the tails were noticed...
