It says they are now writing their IC posts, not that they [i]have written[/i] IC posts, so technically...

The real reason though, at least for the ones I picked out, is that some sections are rather slow and don't have a ton of new stuff to choose from, and I try to pick out recently started RPs that are either actively looking for more players or at least don't say they're closed to new players. Sometimes that requires picking an RP that doesn't have any IC posts yet, because the alternatives are full or private games.

This is just my own thought process when picking things to feature by the way, that they should be things people can possibly join if they find interesting, not the official RPGN stance on what things should go in the Current and Cool section. It's entirely possible for closed or much longer running games to get featured if requested or if the person picking the stuff for that section feels like picking such a game.
