Miku stayed silent as she climbed down from her Viper. She was still a little bit rattled from the first engagement, and had been so preoccupied with avoiding incoming fire she hadn't actually fired back at any point. But at the same time her fear of nearly getting shot down again wasn't the only one clouding her mind; her brother had recently been transferred to the Joint Special Operations Command in the Citadel, and part of her mind was fixated on what might have happened to him. It was things like these that made her question whether she even deserved to be a part of this squadron or not. Everyone else was a decorated veteran of a great many campaigns, and there she was, the rookie. Who seemed to be nothing but a burden on everyone else with her knack for nearly getting herself killed repeatedly.
