[b]Backstory[/b]: Max was born in a normal family, in a normal city somewhere in the west coast. He always had an interest for the stories his grandmother, a native american, used to tell him as she put him to sleep when he was still a kid, reading about the native american and other mythologies well into his teenage years. As the years passed, though, he turned into kind of an introvert, preferring to stay at the sidelines without calling much attention. One day, during a trip he took with his college friends to south america, he got lost and sucked in by a portal. He discovered his new powers when, upon seeing creatures in the distance that seemed less than friendly, he wished he could just turn into a small animal and escape, immediately shapeshifting into a cat. He's a man of few words, but is wiser than he looks.
