Thats more of a tactic than an actual loophole, since he can just do that while fighting the boss, though if the boss [i]was[/i] quadrupedal, its best to steer clear of either of its front or hind legs, most bosses like that are able to cause an AOE attack with their front legs by doing a... wheelie, raising his front legs and standing on his hind ones (I have no idea what horse move thats called), then smashing the area in front of it. It could probably also do a kick with its hind legs.
