Boringverse Aaron and Flit entered in on the ultra-modern command bridge of the Dominion, unlike the rest of the craft, which merely looked well scrubbed, the bridge itself was clearly state of the art. The chamber itself was incredibly compact, located at the top of the central spire overlooking the rest of the ship. Outside the viewscreen near the bow, which had a number of consoles on it, the floor of the room was free of clutter. Aside from the captain's chair, which sat empty for the moment. The majority of consoles were set up on awkward suspended cables, hanging mid air, along with the seats for the people handling them, which sat empty for the moment aside from a red-haired girl in a Federation uniform appearing very much out of her element. Flit strode forward, eyebrow twitching in apparent anger, "Admiral on deck! Where the hell are all of you brats?!" The redhead jumped out of her seat, shivering in fright. "F-f-Fllay Allster! Warrant Officer! Vice Admiral sir!" The girl all but screamed, delivering an incredibly half-assed salute to the blue haired man in front of her. "Allster!" Flit shouted, glancing at the station she had been attending, "Get me comms to the entire vessel!" The girl nodded quickly, before diving back into the midair seat. "You're on, sir!" Allster replied, gesturing towards a microphone at her console. Flit approached, taking a deep breath, "Hello, everyone. This is your Vice Admiral, Flit Asuno speaking. *ahem*..." The X-Rounder paused, smirking as he let the tension mount, " WHAT THE HELL ARE THE BRIDGE STAFF DOING?! GET TO YOUR STATIONS!!!!" He nodded, satisfied, before turning towards Aaron while holding up three fingers, lowering them one by one in a countdown. As the last finger returned to his closed fist, the door to the bridge hissed open, as the panting form of a black haired woman wearing a captain's hat clung to the entrance, panting heavily. "Lt...Lt. Commander Badgerule...reporting...Captain on Deck!" She got out, before Flit walked up to her, raising a hand out over his head when, seemingly randomly, he gestured for Aaron to walk over. "You do it." He said, a smirk growing on his face. Shrugging, the Guild Tech withdrew drew his hand back, before slapping the woman in front of him. She buckled, as the blond processed what just happened. That was random. Why did he suddenly have me do it? Something to do with his psychic powers? And if so....is she blushing?! Badgeroule straightened herself out, standing at attention as she saluted Asuno, "Sir! I apologize for my tardiness! I had not been informed of your return to the vessel and was forced to see to your..." Her voice dragged off, becoming significantly more awkward, "Accommodations." Flit nodded, "I assume that my quarters have been sufficiently pimped out according to my specifications?" "Sir, yes sir!" "Good work." Flit nodded, "This is the Guild Tech we've hired out to serve as a Tender Ship and neutral observer for the duration of our voyage, Lt. Commander. Aaron Gentles." The black haired woman turned to look at him, blushing slightly as she extended a hand out in greeting, "Lt. Commander Natarle Badgeroule. I look forward to working with you." "Er...Likewise." Aaron reached out to grip the woman's hand in order to shake it. The moment he applied a grip, he felt her limb tremble. ...The fuck? Flit stood in between them, "Gentles ship, the Nava-Hoe," The woman's face twitched, "Is one of the tender ship prototypes designed to go with the Archangel-class ships. It is one of only two in existence at the moment, so it's ideal for our purposes, given the ReHOME was unavailable." "Sir!" "Gentles, with me." The blue haired man strode out the room confidently, while a rush of young officers charged past the pair into the command deck, "There's one more thing I want to show you." The two marched into the living quarters, stopping at a room with a custom nameplate adorning it. Aaron stared at the fresh soldering, and then blinked as he noticed the words Chez Pimpin' inscribed upon it. The blond turned to stare at the Vice Admiral, raising an eyebrow. "Don't judge me," The X-Rounder snorted, "I've been married since I was 12 years old, more or less. You can't even imagine the shit I've had to repress for my own safety." The blue haired man shivered, "Every time I considered something new, my abilities would give me a preview of how it would turn out." His eyes suddenly grew lifeless, gazing at something he could only see. Given the despair Aaron could feel radiating from the man before him, the Guild Tech was deeply grateful for that fact. "I...Sometimes vanilla is best, Gentles. Sometimes the simple things really are the best." After shaking his head for a moment, Flit opened the door to his room. It was, for lack of a better word, tacky as hell. The walls were adorned with purple velvet, along with a four-poster bed very blatantly bolted into the floor. The X-Rounder withdrew a remote, pressing a button on it. The mattress began spinning around as he chuckled to himself. A disco ball appeared from hammerspace, and cheesy porno music assaulted Aaron's ears. "This isn't what I wanted to show you, by the way." Flit said, before turning towards the engineer, "I feel you judging me. Stop that." ...Tch "By the way, that bed, while spinning, generates it's own gravity at nearly 1G. Can you make a bed like that? I thought not." Gentles face narrowed in annoyance, knowing it was the truth. "Anyway. Here it is." Asuno walked over to a closet, opening it up and withdrawing a funky looking helmet. "Give this to al-Saachez. I'll speak to his employer shortly about letting him wear it, so there shouldn't be a problem." Aaron took the headwear, eyeing it suspiciously, "What is it?" "Don't worry about it, Gentles. It's not meant for you anyway. al-Saachez has certain...traits that allow him to use it more effectively." The blue haired man replied, "We'll be departing shortly. Make sure to use that time to install those devices onto yours and al-Saachez's machine." He waved to Aaron, shooing him out. "I'll update you if anything important comes up." Aaron left, and after several moments, Flit went to lean back in a chair, his feet resting on a desk in his room as he stared up at the ceiling. It was hard to believe that it had been only four months since he discovered that in this new world, he lacked everything which he had spent his entire life to accumulate in order to become a savior. "First the power..." He chuckled to himself..."And then the bitches..." Shortly afterwards, the Dominion and the Nava-Hoe left port for their first destination.
