Junko was tossing and turning as she at least tried to go to sleep, and she was growing anxious about her roommate barging in. She didn't know why, but little things like that made it harder to sleep. Where was her roommate, anyway? Junko imagined that Reiko would be an early to sleep, early to rise sort of girl, but supposedly that assumption was wrong. Junko relaxed on her bed and tried reading a book out of desperation, and when she started dozing off, she heard Reiko finally come in. Junko was going to say a greeting to her, but she looked awfully gloomy, so Junko just pretended she was sleeping. “Is Reiko…crying?” Junko thought in disbelief, but tried to listen in. The room was so silent that she could actually hear her roommate letting out frustration in her bed. Junko felt bad, but there was nothing she could do. "When I'm feeling that crappy...sometimes I just want to be left alone." She thought, putting it in perspective with her own feelings. Eventually, Reiko went out to take a shower, and when she got back, she finally seemed to notice Junko there, so they said awkward greetings. Junko was finally able to drift into sleep quickly and comfortably. The days seemed to go by fast, but Junko wasn’t complaining. School wasn't always her most favorite thing in the world, even if it was a prestigious private school. By the time it was Wednesday, Junko was feeling a bit drained. She had the stress of the basketball club in the back of her mind, mostly, and she was starting to doze off in some of the lessons. It was finally lunch, and Junko was relieved to clear her mind a bit. While she was walking around and holding a bread bun, it didn't occur to her that she didn't know where to go. She didn't want to be cooped up in the school, so she started walking around outside in a trance. Suddenly, Junko felt a forceful movement on her side and realized she had bumped into somebody—and then dropped her food. It was most likely a result of her own negligence, but she was too shocked to say sorry to the other person. Her mouth was opened agape and stared at the food, feeling pissed at herself for being in such a wreck. “God…dammit…” She mumbled as she bent down to inspect the bread.
