Personality- There are things in life that he cannot change even at his speed. Because of things that occured in his past he has had to learn to accept and now most little things don't bother him. His ability to relax is the stuff of legend. Some people have claimed that he could remain completely calm even with a gun to his head. He claims that there are things that bother him but doesn't give examples because he likes being calm. He stands up for pokemon against those that actually want to harm them or are harming them without meaning to. 

History- People have heard stories about how he was actually raised by pokemon. When he was 6 He got lost in the woods and after three days he should have died but a lucario saved his life by teaching him to survive. This was how he lived for the next 7 years before a trainer found him and led him back to civilization. That next year was spent learning the intricacies of humans. He is much less intelligent than others when it comes to schooling but he is as good as anyone when he is doing just about anything.
