Charles shook his head, whipping out his staff. [i]I'm sorry.[/i] He sent to the Kappa, then to Sophia [i]I authorize force, but try not to kill them.[/i] Sophia nodded, bringing out her own staff. Both of them started swatting the Kappa back before they could land on them, trying to hit them into the water rather than onto land. Neither of them stopped running, and Sophia managed to pick up speed. They needed to figure out how to get the Kappa out of the water and get to the children.

Maria cried out at the blow, and instinctively activated her Painkiller. Seeing Adeline's spirit approach but do nothing, she realized he couldn't do anything without hurting them. Maria swung her steel shield outwards towards the spirit who was attacking her, then Stomped the ground. Skipping back towards Adeline, she said "It looks like I'll have to use this anyway. I'm putting my trust in you, Sonnelion!" Breathing in, she Activated her armor, cloaking herself from head to toe in steel and leaving no crack unguarded. Turning, she tried to cover Adeline's entire body. "Get down." She said through the steel mask.
