Oh I forgot to mention you all can be from pretty much anywhere within reason, Alice is the town where the train-station lets off / where the cabin is located (technically though it's not actually in the 'town').
As for the list thing, I honestly have no idea what's 'odd' but it could just be me spacing out (I've had verrrrry little sleep).
Oookay I see what you mean the idea being societal convention heh. The premise of the RP is that initially Dai suggested his two friends COULD invite someone with them if they wanted to, expecting it to maybe be one additional person each, annnd naturally if you're invited to something as a +1 you aren't entitled to invite anyone else. The red part is our resident people-person forwarding it to everyone on their contacts and god knows where it goes from there.
As for Faith and Raven, Faith is mostly based on Humor / respect where as Ravens line was mutual understanding.
