A Dark Angel is far different from an angel or a fallen angel while sharing similar traits. The reason is that in fact, a dark angel has been both an angel and a fallen angel. When a Fallen Angel dies, a Dark Angel is born, the second death alters them even more. Dark angels are not generally evil or cruel, despite the name; it all depends on their own goals and what they're willing to do to reach it. Normally, they lack the same sense of ethic and morals as an angel, but lack the cruelty and immorality of a demon as well. The reason that they're considered the most powerful and secretive of unwordly races is because dark angels are constantly hunted by those of high authority in heaven, such as archangels and particularly strong angels. The reason is their power; the Dark Angels have abilities similar to angels, however they're darker and more damaging due to their nature. They retain their Grace even though they've became fallen angels. This is due to the fact that no one took it from them and they never freely gave it up. The only way an Angel can lose their Grace is if it is taken or given up freely. However, the Dark Angel's Grace becomes different, filled with different ideas which usually come from the dark angels themselves, these ideas change their Grace and empower it so they can achieve their goals. Their Grace can also materialize into usable weapons and much like an idea, they can change according to their necessity. --- Powers and Abilities:

Tenebrae Materia:[/*]
Tori utilizes her Grace offensively, materializing it in the form of any usable weapon generated by her will alone. These weapons can go from swords to firearms and anything in between, however larger weapons consume her energy faster. Sometimes, Tori chooses to use advanced forms of weaponary which consumes her energy quickly at the cost of being extremely effective, some of those weapons are:
• Acerbus - This strangely-looking weapon shoots Tori's primitive energy form, a black spiralling small sphere that distorts everything around it until it hits someone or something; surprisingly, it does not cause physical damage but rather a temporarily unbearable pain. What makes it dangerous is the fact that the pain is so intense that weaker targets can be knocked unconcious with one or three shoots, and being shot repeatedly in different locations can put down the toughest target. • Sanctus Sanguis - Her materialzied disgust towards angels. This blade acts as an average blade, however, upon drawing any quantity of angel's blood, it becomes empowered. Tori can send crescents of pulsating energy towards any direction with the simple act of cutting the air. Those crescents are pretty harmful, but hit like concussive forces rather than cutting through someone. The more angelic blood this blade draws, the stronger it becomes. Killing an angel with this blade with unlock it's true potential, which remains unknown for now. Simpler weapons, without extra magical enhancement: Eviscerate Cannon. Simply shoots explosive bullets. Pale Blast. A powerful magnum hand-gun, useful for blowing heads, generally.
Equilibrium:[/*]
This ability is utilized whenever Tori gets wounded by someone. This dangerous ability is unavoidable, however it's very consuming to the dark angel's energy resources; once she's attacked by someone and actually wounded, she will touch the wound with the palm of her hand and concentrate herself to cast Equilibrium; this spell will instantly heal her and at the same time, inflict the exact wound on whoever caused it.

Exactus Vindicta:[/*]
To activate this ability, Tori needs to be completely rested; if she uses a single bit of her energy, she won't be able to do it. The reason is that this is her most powerful and dangerous technique, her ultimate secret. Its activation starts when Tori makes direct eye contact with her target. A dark glowing hole will surge at the center of her chest and she moves her hand in it's direction, drawing her very materalized and condensed Grace, a basket-ball sized spiralling sphere of darkness. This sphere collapses, first transforming everything around her and her target into pure darkness. Note, this is only visible to Tori and her chosen target. Once everything becomes black, an orange light can be seen at the sky; and it begins to grow in size slowly, until everything is visible again. However, Tori and her target aren't in the same place they were when this ability was used. She transports them both to a different, unknown dimension. The ground in there is entirely covered with nearly infinite weapons, the only space without them is where Tori and her opponent stands. Tori can control every single sword in this dimension with her mind and hurl them towards her foe or simply control them to fight instead of her. This ability is truly powerful, but it only lasts for a minute and once it finishes, Tori goes unconcious for at least three hours, and needs to recover for a day in order to be apt for combat again. This is due to the huge strain this ability causes her body and mind.

Weaknesses: While Dark Angels are extremely flexible fighters, their inconsistent and twisted Grace makes any sort of spell volatile and extremely damaging to them, with the exception of dark or shadowy based spells. This same inconsistence in their very existance also breaks their energy, meaning that they can't bring themselves to fight at their full-extent without exhausting quickly or running out of energy to use their abilities --- Personality: Tori's outward appearance initially projects an extremely tranquil and gentle atmosphere to those who observe her which greatly contrasts with how she actually acts. The first noticeable trait about her is her lack of interest in social interactions, often dismissing those interested in chattery with short answers and even rude remarks. She believes that conversating itself is a great waste of time and usually avoids it, unless she's feeling extremely bored or is particularly interested in talking with a specific someone, something which rarely occurs. She has an inherent lack of sympathy towards others which she shows often with a rude demeanor, often calling others by names and insults, or simply insulting something about them; from what their power might be to their appearance itself. She finds extremely amusing to see someone getting angry over being insulted, though at the other hand: She shows signs of irritation and anger very easily, often claiming that this or that irritates her... When the truth is, everything irritates the dark angel. Background:
Tori was born in Germany in 1924, by the name of Annabelle Akhiezer, in the city of Berlin, her parents were Joshanna Akhiezer and Albert Abraham Akhiezer. Her mother was a simple woman, while her father was a medic with a small business of his own. They lived fairly nicely, their necessities always fulfilled by the man; Annabelle was aspiring to become a writer and showed legitimate interest towards books since she was very young. However, their peaceful life started to change by 1933 when Hitler started power over Germany. Annabelle was nine years old by then and it was difficult for her to understand what was happening at the time. In 1934, her father became frustated with a law which proihibited the enrollment in colleges, something which utterly crushed his hopes of seeing his daughter follow her dream of becoming a writer. Unable to accept this, the man started to teach his daughter by himself, often buying books and even giving her medicine books so she could improve her general knowledge. In august, with the death of Hinderburg and Hitler assuming as the president of Germany, things started to go downfall. The first thing was the the first Nuremberg Laws being passed and revoking citizenship from Jews as well as prohibiting them from marrying non-Jews, Annabelle's father became noticeably worried with the increasing laws against jews and was already planning to leave Germany with his family. However this became extremely difficult due to Albert's business being closed by nazi-soldiers in 1938, when Annabelle was fourteen years old. The next year, Albert decided that it was time to leave this country before things got even worse. Together with some of his friends, he planned an escape by boat which would happen in exactly four days. The man became noticeably nervous, afraid of what could happen if he and his family was caught, but he was sure that worse things would happen if they remained in Germany. Annabelle and her mother agreed to the idea of leaving and so, after three days, they moved. Moving around Berlin itself was already problematic, but the man managed to reach the place where their boat awaited. They were amongst the first to get there and soon only three names were missing, they waited for as long as they could but it seemed that they wouldn't come anytime soon, so they set sail. For the first few hours, everything seemed peaceful and they'd reach their destination without problem... But after about three hours, a problem could be seen approaching them. A german-boat with nazi soldiers, all asking their identification and names; one of the jew became desesperate and they noticed it right away. It was... They opened fire at everyone, not caring gender or age; the last thing Annabelle saw was her father pushing her towards the edge and off the boat, all the while he was shot on his back. She fell in the water, with her father's dead body over her. It was... After what seemed to be an eternity, Annabelle woke up at a bay in Hamburg. She had no knowledge of where she was or how she got there... All she knew is that she was alone. Everyone died, didn't them? Her father died saving her, her mother probably died as well... Everyone died. She couldn't stop questioning why or for what things were happening like that, it made no sense to her. The girl sat up, hugging her own knees as she closed her eyes, crying was inevitable; she even sobbed audibly. She remained like this for about five minutes, stopping only when she felt a hand touch her shoulder. The girl looked back in fear, seeing an elderly looking woman. She had a worried look in her eyes, asking for Annabelle's name and where her parents were. The young girl told her what had happened and the woman invited her to stay in her house. And so, without having any other option, she followed the woman. The woman had a rather.. big house, for only one person. She prepared Annabelle some food and gave her more clothes, so she wouldn't catch a cold or something. Soon, an elderly man walked through the door as well and the woman explained to him who Annabelle was and what had happened; the man became nervous and seemed to dislike the idea. Annabelle tried to not listen to what he said, but she couldn't help it. "Are you out of your mind? The nazi are searching for them. If they find one of them in here, we will be punished as well!" "We can't let her stay out there, she's just a young girl..." "Agh, agh. When you will learn that the world isn't made of kindness?" "It's not because not enough of us try to be kind with one another." "... If you want to keep her, then do it. But she's not as safe in here as you think and neither are us for as long as she stays in here." She felt relieved that their conversation ended like that. The elderly woman took her to one of the empty rooms and said that she'd be comfortable in there. Annabelle could see some frames with pictures of a young, beautiful looking lady wearing a dress and those luxurious hats. She wondered if it was their daughter... and why she wasn't around. She made her way to the bed. It took the young girl only some secons to fall asleep, she was completely exhausted. ... Her life was better, even with the loss of her parents. The first few nights were horrible, knowing that she'd never see her father or her mother ever again, but after a while, she managed to live on without them. She had.. two grand-parents now, even if they weren't related at all. With sir Balthazar, Annabelle had a strange relationship of friendship, rather than granddaughter. The two often talked about random things; Emma, the elderly woman, treated Annabelle as a daughter. She taught her how to play piano, gave her a lot of books during their two years together. She always mentioned how beautiful Annabelle had became, but the girl always assumed that this was just her being nice. Motherly things. This ended abruptly, though. One day, Balthazar left early in the morning to buy them things for breakfast and while he was off, four nazi soldiers entered the house. Annabelle was frightened. She thought about hiding, but there was no way of leaving or even moving, there was a gun pointed to her. Emma was sitting by the table, looking up at the soldiers. "Madame... Emma, is it not? It seems you've been hiding a treasure from us." ".. A-A treasure? W-What t-treasure?" "Oh yes, a treasure. Let me tell you a history, Emma..." The menacing man slowly walked towards the table, dragging a finger over it... Until his finger came into contact with a knife's handle. He took the knife, eyeing it closely. "About two years ago, one of our scouting groups found a boat filled with these disgusting Jews. They tried to pass off as emigrants, but didn't quite make it. So, the soldiers shot at all of them. One by one, those impure idiots died." After a dramatic pause, the man continued. "Except for... One. A young girl. Now, madame Emma, do you know my name?" The woman seemed to become increasingly nervous, she could barely speak. "Having some trouble? I will help you. I'm Colonel Einrich Hahne of the SS, otherwise known as The Jew Hunter." At this moment, Emma was crying already, Annabelle was just staring at the man with her eyes widen. How had he found her after all this time? She had never heard of someone with such title, but it explained why he managed to find her. The man took a few steps towards Emma and Annabelle was starting to fear that she'd be the reason of her death. "And from what I've seen or perhaps heard about, madame Emma... You've been with this... special guest for two years. You found her in a shocked state near the shores and she's been living with you since them. Oh, have you no shame? Putting a roof over such despicable creature's head? That-" The colonel was interrupted as Balthazar appearead at the door step, shouting something which Annabelle recognized to be in Hebrew. The old man was holding a pistol and managed to shoot off two of the four german soldiers in his house; distracting the other two enough for Annabelle upstairs. Emma was apparently ignored by the two soldiers, since they shot down the enraged old man and quickly ran after Annabelle. She could hear Emma screaming Balthazar's name and she knew that it had been her fault. The girl moved out of the window and into the roof, nearly falling down but managing to keep her balance. Luckily, the house wasn't so tall and she managed to leap from the roof and into the street without hurting herself, she began to make her way towards a theatre which was empty, save some workers who just gave her strange stares when she entered it. The girl made her way backstage, trying to find somewhere to hide, desperately... "Like a rat running for it's life... Oh, how sad." She failed. Colonel Einrich and another soldier had managed to follow her there, likely guided by the workers, since they wouldn't have seen her otherwise. The man took calm, patient steps towards the girl, who was trembling already. He took the classic Luger P08 gun from it's holster, putting it directly against Annabelle's forehead. The noise of the shot could be heard through the whole theatre. ... ... ... ... Is this... Annabelle's eyes opened very slowly, the sight she saw in front of her was... mesmering, to say the least. It was so beautiful that it was hardly believable. Heaven? She slowly stood up, looking down at herself. She was wearing a white dress and a matching, delicate pair of shoes and her hands were both covered by white gloves. This was.. so strange, what happened after all? The last thing she could see was the imposing figure of a man walking up to her and then... Everything disappeared. As she looked forward, she saw a bright golden gate. Yes, she knew it... This was heaven's gate, she had died... Marching forward, she made her way until she was very close to it, her curious eyes trying to see something... anything inside, but she couldn't. The gates opened by themselves and she simply made her way forward. She was worthy of heaven's call and there was no better feeling than stepping inside of a place so beautiful and peaceful. Soon, people floating around could be seen... no, not people. They were angels and they were so beautiful, their smiles were so genuine.. She felt good to be here, no, good wasn't sufficient. She couldn't describe how nice it was to be in a place like this. Soon, she stopped as a figure stopped in front of her. The man welcomed her and made a brief introduction of where she was in; Annabelle tried to ask him the questions left unaswered, but the man simply smiled and said that she'd find the answers herself within due time. Slowly, the girl merged in. She was an angel herself and soon she learned that she had responsabilities as one, now. For years, the angel followed those dogmas and strict rules, though the more she tried to ignore her desire to be free again, the more evident it became. She couldn't stay in heaven like this, this... wasn't as perfect as she thought. Annabelle decided that she would leave; by her own will. It was her decision and nothing could stop her from following on with it. She decided she'd wait the perfect opportunity... and that opportunity came with some chaos, something she didn't quite understand, neither did she want to understand. Annabelle felt. She changed her name and began to call herself Tori; it was her new identy, she was a whole different thing now. A Fallen Angel... But one that still had her Grace. Why? She never quite understood, neither did she want to. For years, Tori walked by herself, always hidding and keeping herself away from everyone else. She didn't quite felt like a human... She didn't had to eat, drink- even breathing was something she didn't need to do. She couldn't understand if she was alive or not, she couldn't even understand what she was... Tori sat herself on top of a tall building, her eyes staring up at the dark sky. Slowly, her white wings sprouted from her back, moving up. Slowly, Tori began to focus on her ideals... her objectives. Things from the past crossed her mind; she wasn't as pure as before. She was never meant to be pure because this very world she was born into long ago was rotten. She'd need to purify it herself... Slowly, a dark darker than night began to spread itself on her wings, turning them from white to black. Tori had her eyes closed while it happened. She had finally found herself; who she was, what she was. She was not an angel, she was not a demon and much less a human... She was a savior. Sent to save this world from itself. This was her ideal, this was Tori being herself... A creepy smirk slowly spread itself over her lips. With her new ideals, a new power came. She forgot her abilities as an angel and developed her own; she'd carry on with her hatred towards this world and angels and do something different, however, she'd need to become much stronger first. Alone, she went sufficiently far, learning how to materialize and control her twisted grace, recovering ancient weapons and absorbing it inside her Grace... She became strong, but Tori was certain that it wasn't enough. She only realized this one night. She was walking normally in an alleyway, expecting to be attacked by drugdealers or just imbeciles up to no good just so she could please herself by killing them, but what came instead was something beyond her power. An archangel. The imposing figure was so bright that she could barely look at him without having her eyes hurt by the blinding light, it wore average clothes but carried an oversized longsword in one of it's hands. Without warning, it dashed towards Tori and tried to slash her- she managed to dodge, barely so. But that was only the start, as soon as she turned herself, the angel was already flying towards her, his sword making a large cut from her stomach to her left shoulder, sending the fallen angel flying back as she collided against a trash-can. The archangel's wings disappeared as he felt on the ground with a soft thud, dusting his clothes off with his hands. The man slowly started to walk forward, his sword slowly transforming into a dagger. When he was close enough to Tori, the man smiled and placed the dagger against her neck. "What made you choose this over the glory of living in Heaven? Hmm, whatever. Die." Tori woke up in what seemed to be an endless valley. There was nothing in sight, only a vast, deserted place where not a single soul could be found. She had died again, but... Where was she, this time? And why was she feeling so alive if she had been just killed? Slowly, a pulsating sphere of darkness surged in front of her. She extended her hand towards it. This feeling... It was so familiar, yet so strange. She could feel the sphere becoming twisted and changed as it slowly moved towards her hand, when she finally could grab it, everything disappeared into nothingness. The Dark Angel woke up in Earth. Her body was... strangely strong. She could feel the power twirling inside of her. At this moment, she changed her ideals. No... the World did not need purification. It was putrid, surely... But the heavens needed a special purification. Every angel and archangel needed to be... Eradicated. --- The next day, Tori found herself being enrolled after a difficult acceptance into the Athalia's Academy.
