Harper flashed the older boy a smile and laughed a little, "let's hope it'll be as easy as that. If we're lucky maybe Nowhere's dragons will shoot candy canes instead." Joking about the mission made it seem less serious. Leila's, Jasper's, and Leon's mounts trotted behind them locked in a conversation while Harper's Chocobo stuck beside Hakuren's. Parsely gave Alcyona a happy kweh. All of the mounts seemed to be good friends. Harper gave his own mount a pat then turned to look at the trio not too far behind. "We should probably go meet the others." He sounded determined, the boy tapped his boots against his Chocobos' sides and the bird sped up a little. Hakuren also gave him a riddle, "I'm not very good at those," he answered as he struggled a little with the reins. There was a moment of silence before he gave the older boy a quizzical stare. "What's the answer?" "Sheesh, can you guys get any slower?" Riley waved both hands above her head a gigantic grin stuck to her face. Zephy had declared Lesley the winner and Avian and Victoria were looking seriously at the tallest mountain in the distance. The dirt path would get them there in a few hours if they focused on the mission at hand. The guides got onto their own mounts and began leading the way. "We'll see 'em soon enough, Ace." The girl chirped before squinting her eyes and glaring at Lesley. "Just you wait," came a playful mumble. The Lost souls left the fields and Sol's castle grew smaller and smaller before disappearing completely. --- The Chocobos ambled along after the guides. They had been walking for a while already and were growing closer and closer with each minute. The castle could and fields could no longer be seen and mountains were scattered all around. The dirt path was empty save for the lost souls and their mounts and the sky above them was an ominous gray. Serenade kept behind everyone, just to make sure no one got left behind. "We're getting close." The road was growing steeper and forests caves surrounded the mountain. "Sooo the dragon lives somewhere up there, in cave?" Riley asked. The black rabbit nodded her head. "We can't just charge in. We'll need the element of surprise, we'll have to say good bye to the mounts for now." The humans got off their Chocobos and said their goodbyes. The chickens began kwehing noisily before they got in line and marched towards Sol together. They were on their own now. "Won't it notice us though?" Harper stated, worry bubbling up to the surface. "We'll just have to be extra quiet." Riley added in, "So what are we waiting for, let's go get 'em!" The girl scrambled up the steepening road and with much effort managed to climb over a slippery looking rock. She stuck to the dirt road, occasionally hopping over larger stones. "Leon? Do you think you can use some of your wind magic to help us?"
