xDOh, no. There is over 20 different breeds, and some don't even look like cats. Take the Ohmes (Khajiit in Arena and I think Daggerfall) for example, They look like Wood Elves.

In other words: Cat girls.

Yeah, that's a little odd, but I suppose it could be trade (In Dragonborn we see Raven Rock has to import loads) or maybe they have respect for the Dark Elves for being the only elven (other than Orcs) race to remain independent from the dominion and survive, given their situation

I'm still wondering why Valenwood has any allegiance to Morrowind, I mean there is hardly a Morrowind left, does not make much sense to me but oh well.

Well, there is Morrowind mainland left. But yeah, With Vvardenfell gone, it is just the mainland and Solstheim. Not much...

That could work, actually... except for the fact valenwood cannot cut down their trees and all their wood is imported makes over sea trade less then profitable and a waste of a valuable resource for little real gain. maybe through second hand or just on the Morrowind side, but it would seem a very one sided agreement in favor of the Dark Elves, as currently their kind of dead in the water. Then there's the fact the Dumar are even 'more' arrogant then the High Elves. The fact they don't have their own Thalmar, it causes many people to forget that. (to be honest I'm almost shocked they don't have their own version of the Thalmar.)

Anyway it just seems quite random to me, like the redguards getting chummy with the Argonians.

Indeed, but maybe it's a sort of investment idea? Like they are trying to build good relations in the hopes it will pay off for them later?

And yes, in many ways they are. I think they don't have their own Thalmor because the houses are arguing amongst themselvse all the time... That and the Dagoth Ur thing... then the tribunal who needed to maintain control and were vying to get the heart so they could regain their power... the Empire came along and gave them a nice little treaty, but this obviously prevented them from stomping around... then the red mountain erupted... Seems like it's really luck that stops them xD

In all honesty though I do really hope a player takes Summerset Isles. They could do quite well, specially if they do away with the Thalmor. We will have to wait and see.

Heh, I was hoping to go bash the Thalmor out of Summerset so I don't have to put up with their insufferable attitude (Also, what better way to get popular support with the people back home in the Empire than to knock out the faction that humiliated them?)

I thought it would be a good idea to have an alliance with the dark elves since they were fire resistant and most likely to have magical assassins. my nation is economic but with strong friends for protection and backup

In that case it makes more sense to ally with the Thalmor , they have better mages, are more organized, are closer, have arguably the best navy (which would help defend trade lines) and can actually provide assistance should war rear it's head.

Posted my NS, it still needs a lot of work, but hopefully I'll be able to finish it by tomorrow.

PS: I still might revise the backstory of the Nerevarine.

You should definitely revise the Nerevarine's backstory. Nerevar/Nerevarine is awesome!

Yeah, ideologically and socially everyone hates the Thalmor's guts (In the Embassy it's clear that Malborn isn't treated too well, and it's mentioned the Thalmor murdered his family) but if you wanted protection it would have been better to side with them than Morrowind, because Morrowind is on the other side of Tamriel and is currently recovering but still rather troubled.

That said, now it's recovered Valenwood having opened relations with Morrowind could pay off well

Looks cool, though I was left wondering how Oravos got an army of Akaviri. And Oravos would be Morrowinds first king as far as I know. (they had a queen but that's a queen and it was a ceremonial title nonetheless.)

Also will the leader of my faction is Morgan F$@#%^ Freeman.

Ya'll are doomed.

Morrowind had a king, it was Hlaalu Helseth, the first one if I remember correctly.

I already have a story backing up the Akaviri army, but I'm still thinking of revising the entire backstory, so I might not put it up yet.
It basically follows the rumors about the Nerevarine travelling to Akavir during the Oblivion Crisis.

MORGAN FREEMAN FTW

That's from 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves' right? Good film, my favourite Robin Hood film in fact, and the Arabians definitely look like the Redguards. Then again, They're supposed to (As far as I am aware (And I'm pretty sure it is right (I mean it is kind of obvious, but maybe it is just a coincidence (Doubt it though(Obviously))))).
