Being the only one who knew much about this ship, Jared found himself in the captain's seat, where the main controls could be accessed. For a while he stayed quiet, choosing instead to concentrate on flying rather than be reminded of the fate that had befallen the group. He especially didn't want to think about what the old man meant when he said he would buy them time, and what that would imply about his fate. Dion was tough as nails, Jared knew that much, but those Judges were like a whole other level. He quickly tried to erase those thoughts from mind. He would see the old man again one day, he was sure of it. So instead he thought about the ship he had apparently just inherited, and remembered something vital about it. "Guys," he said, probably sounding like he was changing the subject, "the good news is, this ship's armor is still fully functional. She won't be shot down any time soon." of course, because he began that sentence with "the good news is..." obviously meant he had to follow up with some bad news, "Unfortunately, she was also decommissioned some time ago, which means her weapon payload has long since been removed. That means if any ship engages us we won't be able to shoot back. It'll be dangerous, but we need to find another Gummi Ship port and soon if we want any chance of defending ourselves while out in space." "Plus," he began, adding another thought to the discussion, "we won't get anywhere by just aimlessly wandering. We need some kind of plan, and I say we do what the old man suggested and find the ones who are truly responsible for what happened. That all being said, does anyone have any ideas for where to start?"
