You're assuming they aren't brutes with super-thick skin and can sustain multiple shotgun blasts. Or rage-monsters that will continue fighting despite taking a shotgun blast to the face. Or stealth creatures you can't see. Or flying. Or super fast.

Going into the fog, its thick. Pea soup thick. You aren't seeing far. So you're going to have issues seeing people before they're in range to hurt you. And, ya know, there's also the chance that they have tech and/or natural skills to overcome the thing.

Oh, right, and there is the suggestion that they're either highly tactical if not outright psychic.

But ya know.

That whole rushing in thing because you believe that your abilities are effectively min-maxed in your favor. Always smart. *thumbs up*
