Garrus has made some crazy gambles in the past, but this was by far the craziest. A hired killer had a gun in his face and he was being opening defiant. It was strange, back in C-Sec there were plenty of times when he was afraid for his life. But staring down the barrel of a gun now didn't even phase him now. He wasn't married, didn't have kids, and he made sure not to leave any evidence that traced his good deeds back to the people he's helped. What did he have to lose (aside for a brief moment of pain.) "You think about turian ass a lot?" He chuckled "You're going to make me blush." Garrus decided to push his luck to the limit, he took another step forward. He clearly could see her finger on the trigger. "Look around you, this place has been chewing people up and breaking their spirits. Ever since I got to Omega I've witnessed things that shocked and made me sick. I've seen parents forced to sell their children so the thugs that walked that neighborhood wouldn't just kill them. I saw a woman get robbed and shot on a crowded street, with no one batting an eye. There's a bridge that has become famous because that's where people who've lost all hope go to end it all. And that line to it stretches around the corner." "I'm the only one standing up to all of that." He sighed, "I'm here to make a difference and help those who've had everything taken from them, and punish those who thought themselves untouchable. You're working for the wrong people. Why don't you put your skills to some good use and point that gun at the scumbags that really deserve it. Garrus took another step closer. Now her gun was practically pressed against his forehead. "There's more to you than just a bunch of credits. I can see there's still some good in you. At least...I'd like to think so."
