I can't make the character thing, it's in Hae's post D: Besides, I do plenty of work. I, you know, I... um. I play FTL? Why don't YOU make your character so that we can get started?
You make it, PM it to the GM so he can copy paste it to the OP. That's what I did as a co-GM :P GEEZ
--- Name Clarisse Eve Jenkins Alias Clary, Claire, Clara (Or whatever you all decide, I suppose?) Gender Female Age 24 Race Human Appearance "Appearances are a glimpse of the unseen." On a rainy day, you can just see her curled up in an arm chair next to the window, wrapped in a blanket with a mug of hot chocolate. Standing at 5'7", Clarisse has a little bit of more weight compared to other girls her age and height, but that's not a problem. It provides the natural curves and prevents her from looking like a stick. She has a rather soft, low-key appearance that contrasts her bright demeanor. At first glance, it seems like she should be soft-spoken and shy. But the second she moves, it's apparent that she's very energetic. Her brunette hair is often bouncing about due to the spring that is always present in her step. And her eyes, there's an everlasting sparkle in them. Clarisse often uses various gestures and motions to convey what she's trying to say. Very much an action-oriented person, she's been known to pantomime actions when she can't remember how to say something--which unfortunately, is a lot more frequent than she'd like to admit. Position Pilot Personality "I guess we're not in Kansas anymore, Toto..." A dark mysterious young lady, shrouded by an air of darkness. Nobody knows where she's from... Nah, I'm just kidding. Clarisse is bland though. Cookie Cutter. Normal. Boring. Again, I jest. She's a joy to be around, and I'm not pulling your leg this time. Clarisse is very personable. She's the type of gal that everyone can relate to in some way shape or form. A typical girl next door, she's approachable, dependable, and trustworthy. You need the notes for chemistry because you were sick? She's got you. You need to text someone so you don't seem alone? Clarisse is your girl. Need help on your math homework? Hey, Clary's free on Wednesday, why don't you meet at a coffee shop and she'll help you? She's always there, and she's always got your back. She can give off a motherly or the-reliable-big-sister vice because of this at times. Clarisse is really intelligent. She studies her butt off, she can quickly comprehend things, she got high grades while in high school... But she still can be considered, eh... What's the word, an airhead? Dense? Out of it? Despite her smarts, Clarisse can miss the blatantly obvious at times, and has trouble picking up subtle signs and nuances. "Duh-moments" and "blonde moments" are no strangers to her. Being a girl who is 100% honest all the time, Clary finds no need in subtlety or sugarcoating, therefore doesn't understand them as much as she probably should. Due to her no sugarcoating personality, she has a tendency to voice whatever comes to mind, which has resulted in her regretting her big mouth. She can keep larger secrets--really! Like, if you confide to her that you're proposing to someone, she won't say a peep. But when it comes to smaller secrets, they come spilling out. Whoopsie! Biography "Dare to dream, dare to fly, dare to be the ever chosen one to touch the sky." If you could have one super power, what would it be? For Clarisse, it's always been the power of flight. Maybe it's genetic, after all, flying runs in her family. Her grandfather was a fighter pilot in World War II, and her father works as a pilot for Delta Airlines. Clarisse spent her childhood watching airplanes fly overhead, and enthusiastically accompanying her father on the planes when it was idle. Rather than barbies, she played with airplane models, and she could name every part of a plane by the time she was 7. It was really clear what her career would become someday when she got older. Until the day of the crash. When Clarisse was 15, there was an airplane accident. Her father was the one piloting the plane, and out of the 16 people boarding the plane, there were no survivors. Obviously, it was devastating to Clarisse. She's always been a daddy's girl, and it's extremely hard to deal with the loss of a loved one. There was a lot more to deal with though. America loves pointing fingers, and there was an obvious scapegoat, wasn't there? It was easy to just blame one man for all of the lost lives. The Jenkins family had to deal with the fierce backlash of the accident, as Mr. Jenkins' name got tainted with the accident. There was so, so, so much bad publicity on the still grieving family, and they all gained an infamous image. Clarisse wanted to scream. Lash out. The conditions of the crash is still unknown to this day. What had happened on the flight? Nobody knows. Then why, why was everyone throwing accusatory words towards her hero, without any proof? It was so unfair. When word got out that Clarisse Eve Jenkins aspired to be a pilot, oh how the public cried out in opposition. Screw them. Screw them all. If she's being completely honest, Clary had her doubts. After her greatest hero passed away in the accident, flying scared her. If he couldn't do it, why would she be able to? There were so many haters out there who were against her, and she was on the verge of giving up her dream. But she was nothing if she wasn't a fighter. So she pressed on ahead and enrolled in Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, one of the best flight pilot schools in America. Acing her classes and successfully becoming a pilot, Clarisse showed all of the haters that she could do this. There's absolutely nothing she loves more than flying. But the victory was evanescent at best. "Clarisse Jenkins, daughter of the deceased pilot Daniel Jenkins is missing. She's been missing for about 6 days now, and while no foul play is suspected, the police are looking for any clues that will lead to finding this young pilot." On a nice warm afternoon in April, Clarisse was about to go out for a jog. She pulled on her running shoes, tied her hair back in a ponytail, stepped out the door... Then nothing. She has no idea what happened after that. One minute she's in her front yard, the next she's in this... Where the fuck is she? Where ever she is, it doesn't look right. There's something so wrong, it can only be a dream... Right? Wake up. Please. Catchphrase "After seeing everything that I have seen so far, nothing can surpr--HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!" Miscellaneous --Her beverage of choice is hot chocolate --She can often be heard humming songs from musicals --She's extremely flexible. Just ask her to show you some tricks!
And boom :P
