Konno-sama is an extremely conceited girl. She's utterly convinced that she's the bee's knees, the sharpest tool in the shed, the creme de la creme; you get the idea. As surprising as it may seem, Konno is rather sensitive. She has this outer appearance of a confident, nonchalant girl, who's oblivious to anyone else's feelings but her own. But when the going gets hard, she's the first one to start bawling. 
[b][i]Biography:[/i][/b]
Being a resident of the land, Konno grew up her whole life listening to the resident's awful stories regarding the villagers of the sea. She was being raised to hate and despise anyone who wasn't from her land. Her parents were the first to go ballistic when they heard that their daughter's school was going to have to mingle with those [i]'wannabe merfolk.'[/i] However, no matter how much influence her parents had, they couldn't do anything against the addition of those sea village students. Konno herself wasn't too happy to mingle with the new students, but at least they would be providing her with new entertainment.
