Things like the lancelot. It has more protection, energy shielding, and has even more mobility then normal Knightmare Frames.

It essentially eliminates the weakness of the stock Frames(Unable to take hits) while improving on their previous strengths; mobility and speed.

However there aren't many of those just laying around here, so doubt they'll be relevant unless a named character uses them.
