Ava watched Thomas and Fox leave before turning back in her seat and burying her red face in her hands. Everything happened so fast it was still swirling around, fresh in her head. If Ava had any other friends, they'd probably be poking and prodding her for any information they could get about the recent event. They'd be giggling like school girls and singing immature kid's songs about how her and Thomas would be getting married, but in that canteen all she had was her own muddled thoughts.
