Mei gave Ashlynn a confused look. "What? No! I had no idea what was going on, and I was looking for answers! No one's doing a great job explaining what's going on. Like, at all." She tried to land beside Ashlynn. Easier said than done. Experimental flight always meant a crash landing. As she approached the ground, Mei tried to hover and slowly lower herself down. Again, very Iron Man. However, it did not go as well. Without thinking, she tried only stopping one jet of flame at a time. This caused her to propel forward several feet away until she finally killed all of the jets at once, skidding a couple feet on her knees. Gritting her teeth, she slowly got to her feet. Shaky landing, yeah, but it seemed like a reliable enough form of transportation. Or at least it did until the fatigue caught up with her, forcing Mei back onto her knees. They were bare and bloody, her jeans ripped from the skidding. She sat back on her rear, placing her hands to her knees. Creating the magical equivalent of band-aids, she healed over the reasonably nasty scrapes and cleaned them. It was about this time that she noticed she was barefoot. The flames must have melted her shoes from her feet. Great. It was also then that she took in the entire scene before her. This was worse than she imagined. While there were several taking care of the burning wreck before her, it was still very much a terrifying scene. Bodies of the injured lay out before her, with what looked like white mages tending to them. Standing up again, she slowly walked towards Ashlynn, taking care where she stepped. "I know a little white magic..." she told her. --- Caist continued to follow Dark and Aphrodite, smothering flames as he went. There were more thought patterns in the area. More reinforcements, by the looks of it.
