I think you pretty much stay the age you were when you got the infection. After all, Kodlak Whiteman was pretty damn old, and I'm pretty sure werewolves are extremely long-lived, but not immortal like vampires. I think that's why in Kodlak's case he suddenly wanted to find a cure for his lycanthropy because his condition started to deteriorate and he knew his time was running short, desperate to find a cure so he could go to Sovengard. 

So yeah, it's totally possible to have a really old character, just maybe not insanely old.
