Maybe they are? o.O I mean, the cause of their disappearance was never get solved. Maybe one of their invention managed to see the future, and then they saw Alduin coming to Skyrim... and they be like: "F*ck this shit. Let's get out of here." And then they built like a dimension hopping machine or something and pulled a Dr. Who with their whole race?
