So sorry for your shitty week Hellis :(

Wordsmith? PLEASE I have got to know - phonetically, share with me how you've been pronouncing (or rather, mispronouncing) "mischievous" all you life long?

Yeah. My cat of 18 years is on his last legs it seems. And some rather terrible news struck my family to boot. sometimes, Escapism like this is a real life saver.

Kinda like this:

Miss-chee-vee-ous

Well, that's my version of phonetically -- the kind of phonetic that doesn't require learning a whole second set of letters and symbols. I only realised it when I tried to spell the word 'Mischevious" and came to the shocking conclusion that the i comes before the e, which led to the dire thought that I had been pronouncing it incorrectly all along, and then a brief bit of research concluding my fears that I had, indeed, been a dunce. Worse than that, I'd been thoroughly colloquialized.

That. Is. Adorable. Poor Wordsmith, all colloquialized and such - but at the very least, it's not something you took to you grave? *bright side, silver lining, finding one!*

And so sorry for your poor cat, Hellis. She's had a long life, I know, but it doesn't make saying good-bye any easier.

I feel like miss-chee-vee-us is at least colloquially correct, because that's how I was taught to say it. Or at least how I learned to say it. And how I will continue to say it, because fuck rules

Hellis, I hope you feel better soon.

And I will have to postpone posting for another day. I'm feeling rather under the weather myself, so I'm gonna head to bed early tonight. Sorry for the wait.

I'm so sorry to hear that Hellis, many years later I still recall a trip I took of such a nature. You have my sympathy.

AmongHeroes said .From down the causeway, other figures were now materializing. Hundreds, thousands of werewolves, each drenched in black powder, and each ready to sacrifice their lives and very souls so that the walls of the castle would come crashing down around the heretics it protected.

Somewhere in my mind, I got the image of Jay-Jay jumping up and down going 'Pick me, pick me!'

Lovely posts Heroes, by the way.

Good lord I hope so!

That was a lovely post, Sir. I can't wait to see what people do with it, even the ones who were so conveniently outside.

Just lovely thank you. Woke up a bit later than usual, put on a pot of [my decidedly average] coffee, began a couple loads of laundry and now settling in to do some writing. All in all, lovely indeed!

I am well enough considering that I am off to work and then off to my school to get a pitifully small amount of money back on my textbook afterwards. When I return from all that fun I will endeavor to get a post up for this. I have been chomping at the bit to do so.
