Lexi found herself laughing at Uncle Ben’s response about comment about not being that old, her cheeks were dying down from the redness as Peter handed her a bottle of Pepsi. “Thank you.” Her voice was sweet and as he sat down she moved her legs out of the way, tucking them under her as she kept looking back at the TV. Her lips pressed together as she listened to the show and turned the cap, opening the bottle of soda. “And you were cute an adorable young man.” The next question that showed up really surprised her. “How do you show you love someone?” “Oh!” Little Lexi said, as if she knew the answer already the answer. “Oh… Oh oh oh. I know this!” She said quickly to herself, fanning her face much like she did even at her current age. “Oh!!” Her loud and excited as if she finally figured it out. “My mom and dad do this!” With that she turned to Peter, placing a hand on each of his cheeks and pulled him forward, pressing her lips hard against his. The kiss didn’t last too long before Lexi pulled back and the sound of their lips parting as an echo that even filled the empty house they were in watching the video. Young Lexi stared down Peter, a bright smile across her full flips and her right front tooth missing. “I love you!” At that Uncle Ben and Aunt May exploded with laughter and Lexi’s hands dropped to her lap, much like she still did as an almost-adult. “What???” She asked blue eyes wide as if she had done something wrong. “That’s what they do, I swear.” “We’re not laughing at you my dear.” Aunt May said sweetly, “It’s just not common to see two five year olds kissing each other than telling them they love them.” As Lexi looked confused the camera cut out to Uncle Ben and Aunt May’s laughter. Lexi’s face was back to being bright red as her hand went to her forehead. “I had to find this one first… I just had too huh?” She muttered under her breath before pulling her head out of her hand, her eyes twinkling as she pressed her lips together for a moment before letting them go. “Well at least my first kiss wasn’t with Mark in second grade; he had horrible breath.” A small laugh left her as her lips curled into a smile. Maybe… maybe she could tell him tonight, but she didn’t want to blur out and say it. “Though Peter I hope your technique has improved.” Says the girl who kissed him, “Because you really should be able to leave a lasting impression with a kiss…” Like Spider-Man. Shit, she couldn’t get that man out of her mind! Peter, focus on Peter!
