"Good evening, Mister and Mrs. Rogers!" the man on the glider said, giggling quietly. It felt good to see terror on their faces. "I was just wondering why Lexi Rogers didn't attend prom tonight.... could she possibly be with the Spider..." He said with a growl, glaring at them with insane poison green eyes. Mr. Rogers looked at him closely. "Rick...?" He asked. "What do you mean? She's not at prom?" He asked, completely confused. "Yes, yes yes! I thought i would find her here face to face with the man everyone one calls a hero!" He screamed. He threw an orange ball down on the street. It erupted in fire. The Rogers screamed. "Where is she?!" He yelled at them, holding another bomb. "W-We don't know! We thought she was with you!" Mr. Rogers said, terrified, holding his wife to protect her. He had no idea what he was talking about, but he was completely crazy... he knew that Lexi must be at the Parker's house.... but he couldn't put his daughter and her friend's life on the line... "very well... We are going somewhere to get the attention of the Spider-Man..." with that he rolled an orange bomb on to the ground at their feet. a green mist appeared, and they fell to the ground, unconscious. ------------------- Peter was intoxicated by her perfume, her lips, and her leaning up at him. Five year old peter would be disgusted by this scene... but boy was he loving it now. He put a hand gently on her cheek, holding it as if it were a priceless gem. Then he took another risk and slid her tongue in to her mouth, the sensation was unbelievable... He had to tell her. He had to tell her right now. "Lex..." He said, breathing heavily from the kisses, and his nervousness. "I gotta tell you something... something i should have done a very long time ago..." He said, with a shy smile, hoping she wouldn't be too mad at the news. "I am--" His phone rang in his pocket. he took it out, and to his horror it was Aunt May. He looked at Lexi, giving her an "i'm sorry!" look in his eyes as he answered the call. "Aunt May? What's the mat--" "Peter! Are you still with Lexi? Are you still with her?" She asked, clearly terrified. Peter was scared as well. "Yeah.. yeah, of course... what's the matter, Aunt May?" he asked her. "A man... A man is at your high school... he looks so evil, Peter! He's.. He's demanding Spider-Man and Lexi Rogers to show up at the gym! he says that if he doesn't show, he'll kill everyone in there... Peter, they have her parents...." Peter put his call on speaker when she said "Spider-Man" and looked up with fear at Lexi. "Alright, Alright... Aunt May, listen, I'll stay with Lexi. Once she's safe I'll pick you up alright? and we'll go home and-and just pray, Spider-Man helps them, alright? I'll call you back!" He hung up, looking at Lexi. "Look, Uncle Ben's old study room is the safest... If-If you can just s-stay there while i go get Aunt May..." he trailed off, completely full of fear. This was the one thing he never wanted to happen... Having the lives of his loved ones in danger... God he was an idiot! He should have just told her so she didn't have to kiss Spider-Man but Peter! at home! He ran upstairs to get his backpack, ripping off his tie and jacket as he ran back downstairs. He saw that she was watching the news now, shocked in horror. "Look, dont do anything stupid, alright? I'll be back with Aunt May in a bit...." He said to her. "Lock the doors!" He called out as he opened the front doors and ran for the nearest alley way.
