It was amazing how many people could fit into a movie theater. It smelled like bleach and butter, and was neither hot nor cool. The angel believed this place to be very luxurious. It was like he was taking a trip to the future, or something to a similar magnitude. He smiled blithely as he looked around. His hand was lightly tugged by Bel, and he knew to keep up his pace. There were just so many things to admire and observe! The floors had a very shiny, checkered pattern on them. Harp caught a few small children trying to jump from square to square, as if they were playing a game. Humans were very interesting. The angel also saw many humans consuming a light yellow, puffy snack. There was a bright neon sign that read 'POPCORN' and he had to assume that was what it was.

As they continued to walk deeper into the theater, Harp noticed Bel suddenly stop. "Hm?" Was something the matter? As the angel realized Bel was looking at something, he too decided to stare. Perhaps he wanted to be like the demon a bit, but he also didn't really know what else to do. If he did something strange like comment about a neon sign, then he would stick out like a sore thumb to the countless humans around him. It would be better just to follow Bel's lead. As he chewed the insides of his teeth, he angel though dryly, 'Don't be a ninny...' It appeared he was looking at pictures of some kind. Smiling slightly, Harp decided to look around at the sharp and exciting scenes.

There were many posters lines on that far wall, and many were much bigger and more eye-catching and noticeable than the 'Hellfactory' advertisement. There was a poster of a young girl who had a single hand that was curled around the stick of a candied apple. It looked delicious, all smothered in thick sugary syrup! She was a simple schoolchild, and the poster seemed innocent enough; she was smiling brightly and held the treat to her mouth. However, in the background, were those disembodied heads the angel spotted? What in the world was going on here? Letting out a hum of confusion, the cupid searched the poster for more suspicious things. for one thing, the title 'Naughty Nattie' was scrawled in out-of-place messy letters. It was then he noticed that the 'syrup' on the apple was actually blood. And the 'apple' was the head of a young boy. Letting out a shout in surprise, Harp stumbled backwards in shock, bumping into a couple behind him in the process. After quickly apologizing, he began to examine the other posters.

There was one about a couple kissing passionately as a man with a serious bullet wound keeled over in the backdrop. In another, a man was being ripped apart by small, elvish creatures. The angel was horrified. "What kind of world is this...?" He then turned to Bel as he spoke of a poster on the far side. It was smaller than the others, but to his pleasant surprise, didn't seem to evil or dubious at first glance. It looked like a cute little scene where some people were taking an evening stroll through a snowy forest with their pet dog. How serene! How calm! How absolutely charming! "Oh, yeah! Totally!" The angel quickly agreed, more in relief than anything else.

It was an empty promise, because Harp knew that in a few days, his arrow would wear off and he would be running for his life. As he ushered the demon to the ticket booth and then examined the tiny piece of paper, Harp decided to follow the current of people. There were many rooms, and the rooms were only labeled by bright lettered signs. "Oh, lookie, that one says 'Wolfprint'! C'mon, Bel, let's gooo!" He sang as he tried to rush into the theater room like a rabid superfan.

"A very odd one, honestly, bec-" Bel didn't get to finish his sentence as the angel suddenly tried to rush into one of the theater rooms. Luckily though it seemed like the correct one, a small bit of relief found bell in that. The past few moments had blurred together, he barely remembered that he had the tickets in his hand as he followed Harp into the theater room without a word. Though there were other people, they seemed to have a natural instinct to keep at least a good foot away from the demon as he entered.

It was a rather nice place, no one could deny it. The screen was massive, the seats could easily fit two people if you squeezed a bit, every chair had two cup holders, and then there was Bel's favorite part. It was a small thing, but he found it to be a rather big deal. The chairs, while they were nearly large enough for two people, were also insanely plush and soft. You could sink right into one and probably get lost in Narnia or some other fake, imaginary place! While watching movies in his free time, he loved to lounge in them, even if he really wasn't interested in the movie. The floor was black, though it could have easily been another color, it was hard to tell with the room having already grown dark. The screen had started to play the basic movie adds that usually ran a couple of minutes before the movie actually started.

This time, Bel wasn't sure if he was going to be able to watch the movie or not. He glanced over Harp for a moment, frowning slightly as he reaches over and grabs the Angel's upper arm and tries tug him along up the rather large steps in a hurried fashion, directing him a bit more towards the higher-up chairs as more people began to fill into the room and take seats. He didn't want to get stuck with someone behind him, he wanted their backs to a wall. Even if it was a room full of supposed humans, he was not going to take any chances.

"Harp. Top row, the middle seats." Bel murmured softly before releasing the angel's arm and swiftly skipping up the stairs like some human teenager might, tugging his hood down over his eyes a bit more as he did so. Though a few pink locks of hair fell into his face, he couldn't bother himself to put them back into place. He wasn't really thinking about much at the moment, though he did continually glance back towards Harp like a very protective watchdog. If he had ears, they'd be up and on alert. He had to be, after all. He was under this angel's cupid's spell... that and it was the angel's first time really delving around in the human realm.

A soft sigh escapes Bel though as he carefully slips into the very top row of the theater, plopping down in a seat right near the middle. He leans back, kicking his feet up and resting them upon the back of the chair in front of him. There was a blank look on his face as he glanced towards Harp yet again and then towards the screen. Maybe he should have gotten snacks, but that could wait for another time, they were already here after all, no point in risking a chance at loosing their seats. Bel had a feeling that the moment he was away from Harp's side, the magic would start to get weaker. This short distance seemed alright, but something told him this wouldn't last much longer. The angel was in a bit of luck, though. Bel wouldn't rip him to tiny bits in the middle of the mo-...

A hand is suddenly brought up, Bel starts to rub at his eyes. That, or maybe Bel was lying to himself. Direct thoughts like that apparently were still not allowed, it seemed. There was a throbbing pain in his chest for several moments, even after he dropped his hand.

The movie theater smelled of oily popcorn butter and lint that lined coat pockets. It made the angel's nose crinkle slightly, but it wasn't exactly repulsive. Pink eyes panned around, taking in the theater. Obviously, he had never been to one before. It was all new and exciting and made his stomach churn. Perhaps he could feel it, though. Perhaps he could feel that even in this place, in which he had never been before, something didn't belong. On one wall, there was a great thick cloth. From everyone looking at it and all the seats angled toward it as well, Harp realized that was where the movie would probably appear. So little he understood about this world, even what a movie was. From what he did know, it was entertainment. And that was always a good thing. In theory, at least. Some firmly believed that entertainment was nothing but temptation... and temptation is sin. Of course, he was hanging around a demon anyhow, so that was irrelevant.

Following Bel briskly, the angel did want to get good seats. He listened to the demon, let the darkness guide him through the dark room. It hid him, cloaked him like a pelt of fur. He didn't say anything, and was afraid to even breathe until he was sitting next to the demon, top row, middle seats. Even then he said little, eyes flickering to his companion's face occasionally. What he saw was a bit worrisome. Was the demon having an inner conflict? His spell couldn't be breaking so soon. He was stronger than that, he knew it. Biting his lip only slightly, Harp moved his hand on top of the other's. "I think it's starting..." He murmured as the lights flickered on.

He was blissfully unaware of the bad things that hid in the dark.

The only reply Bel makes to Harp is a low, rumbling growl. Just barely loud enough to reach the angel's ears. His emerald green eyes stared intently onto the large screen as the images started to flicker. He barely noticed the others hand on top of his own, but unconsciously he turned his own, just enough to grip onto the angel's lightly. There was still a rather dull throbbing in his chest, but the more he focused on the screen, the less evident it became.

While his eyes watched images flash across the screen, he wasn't focused on it at all any longer as his thoughts started to trail off back towards Harp. Since when did little, wingless angels become such a problem? His thoughts had not been this scattered since he had become corrupted, or well, as he had liked to put it. Is it really 'corruption' if it is done willingly? Mentally shrugging off those thoughts, he suddenly leans back in his seat, pulling his feet down off of the back of the chair in front of them. He brings his free hand up to cover over his eyes, gripping onto Harp's hand tightly suddenly. Its not that he was tired, at least not physically. Mentally he felt the strain of this magic, more than anything.

"If you get scared or need something," Bel states, "Just say so. Don't ignore your instincts if you sense something wrong." He says that before finally closing his eyes, arm still draped over his face.

"Alright," Harp agreed after a time, a bit uncomfortable that Bel would say something like that. The angel was initially ecstatic about coming to see the movie, though he felt the atmosphere become increasingly heavier. It was most uncomfortable, and he hoped that it was all in his angelic imagination. However, he felt something was wrong. He was just about to get Bel's attention, just as he had warned him, but he stopped. The demon looked exhausted, with his arm over his face like that and breathing so heavily. Harp had the feeling that the other could easily sink into the couch at any moment.

Deciding to relax and just watch the movie, the white-haired male sighed in contentment as the movie started. There was a young man, or rather a young boy with dark brown eyes and hair. He was pretty cute in Harp's opinion, but this was a movie, after all. The scene commenced with him falling asleep on what looked like straw, and then the scene went black as there were signs of struggle. When the character was seen again, he was tied and gagged and on an ancient-looking stone altar that had dark stains on it. It was night, and he looked terrified.

The angel flinched along with most of the theater as two ruby eyes appeared onscreen. Their owner was a white wolf of some sort. What were creatures with red eyes and white pigment known as again? Alamo? No, that was something else, he was sure of it. Nevertheless, he couldn't remember the Alamo- er- albino! Snickering only slightly, clearly proud of himself, the angel swung his feet a bit smugly. After all, no ordinary movie-watcher... person... would know that this other character was an albino. Now fully engrossed and immersed into this fantastic thing humans- and Bel- called a movie, a hundred reapers could have flown behind him and Harp wouldn't have noticed!

This was a bad thing, indeed. For Harp and Bel were not the only non-humans in the theater. A few rows behind them seemingly enjoying the movie, sat three figures. While two of them were sitting rather civilly, the third was stuffing his face with popcorn. "Mm... Theater foods!" He giggled. His companions, who were on either side of him, smacked him upside the head. "Shut up!" A girl with dark tanned skin hissed at him. Her bright gray eyes glittered with annoyance. She had a white crystal embedded just above the spot between her eyes, that could be easily be mistaken as a third eye.

"If we're any louder, then he'll hear us. Right?" Their third companion, a enigmatic hooded figure, sat unresponsive. "Always the same." She mused in a whisper.

Bel did not even flinch upon feeling the angel's uncomfortableness, though was slightly thankful that he calmed down and became engrossed in the movie. Now if only danger didn't seem to follow this little angel, just maybe Bel could have been in a better mood. Or it was quite possible Bel was just being somewhat territorial for once in his demonic life, or maybe even just a bit possessive over the angel. In truth though, Bel wasn't sure which to hope for, neither of them were good. Demons could be very possessive and territorial beings, but in all his years, Bel had been rather good about not being either of those. Up until now, anyway. Just the thought of other non-humans being so close made his skin crawl, especially ones that posed possible threats.

The demon remained slouched in his seat, lightly rubbing his thumb over the back of Harp's hand. He had yet to actually look at the screen, taking in only one small peek so far. Though his attention was quickly drawn to the screen and the scene that was starting to play out. He had read the books out of boredom, but it was always most interesting to see the visual on the large screen. One of the main characters had just walked out of the thick underbrush, a white furred ruby-red eyed wolf. This guy was a couple years older than the boy who was tied onto the offering pedestal that was stained with blood, and by all means in Bel's mind should not have been the one there to collect the child. Though as he recalled after reading the second book, the age of 'maturity' was very different in this pack of wolves.

Bel just lightly shakes his head as he drops his arm to get a better look at the screen. The wolf was slowly hobbling up to the pedestal, imposing and rather intimidating, especially to the young boy who was all tied up. Growling and barking commands and questions, the wolf was rapidly changing from a mere four-legged wolf into a bipedal one. Wolves like this did exist in this world, but much unlike this story, they could not change shape so easily. It was a painful process, he had watched it several times while doing some observation from atop a building once. That and most of them were loners and tried to blend in with the humans.

He actually was starting to get into the movie a bit, his mental strain slowly disintegrating as he watched the screen with wide eyes. But then he heard them. Oh, he had sensed they were there, but they had been quiet for the most part. Then again, maybe he had not been paying attention, movies had that effect on creatures, especially when they were deep in thought. Grudgingly Bel pushes himself up a bit in his seat, turning his head just enough to glance behind him to see whom it was making such a racket. He spotted them rather easily, three of the, in a few rows behind Harp and himself. A low growl would erupt from his throat as he finally turns more in his seat to face them, baring his suddenly sharpened fangs in an aggressive manor. The shadows in the theater would suddenly grow much, much darker than they had been previously, just showing the demons irritation. They no longer danced, even the light of the large screen seemed to be eaten by them.

Thankfully though, they would die back down quickly to how they were previously, following in suit with Bel's fangs as he spoke in a harsh, but oddly friendly sounding tone. "Quiet, if you will. Some of us have better hearing than most."

The three, on their part, did not even flinch. However, as Bel turned around and the shadows became more livid, the girl and the youthful male tensed visibly. Though her gaze was far from cold, it held no emotion or thought. It was as if she wasn't thinking of anything. Her hooded companion simply shrugged his shoulders in a stretch.

The girl was the first and only to speak, crystal glowing as she did so. "Ah, my apologies." She whispered. "I seem to have gotten so... careless as of late." Then, adding a more dark undertone added, "It won't happen again." She then sank a bit deeper into her seat, though the boy next to her acted like the chair was made of steel and not soft cloth.

Harp did nothing on his part, as if he did not notice such a major thing. However, he was so absorbed in the movie, as so much had happened. There were so many diverse characters, and it led Harp to wonder how exactly the human world worked. Of course, he could hear Bel and the others, but it might have been an effort not to notice.

Though Bel settled reluctantly back into his seat, he wanted to turn around and slaughter the three of them. But as the thought crossed his mind, the demon suddenly realized that just the thought of blood splattering everywhere sounded nice. Felt nice, too. He couldn't quite explain how, but he could feel the slickness of the red liquid dripping off of his skin, just by memory. It sort of made his mouth water, too. Lightly shaking his head, he starts to lightly grind his sharpened 'human' teeth. Teeth that were again feeling far too big for his mouth, though he knew it wasn't even visible from the outside.

Thankfully though, as he glanced over to Harp in silence, he physically felt himself calm down. Not a great deal, but a mere notch or two. Which for someone such as Bel, was a bit unusual. But then again, nothing about this situation could be considered usual, not even in the slightest. Swallowing a sigh, Bel slowly exhales through his nose. This angel was trouble and hurt his head, in more ways than one.

Without much warning, Bel would suddenly tilt over towards Harp, attempting to rest his head upon the Angel's shoulder while he watched the movie. He had not really been paying attention, but secretly he hoped he had not noticed too much of what had just happened. Not that it was a huge deal or anything, but on some level, Bel didn't want to totally ruin his first movie. He could recall the first time he had watched a movie, it was quite magical, without actual magic, he would admit.
