Ace grinned in the dark, but then her attention turned to the soft glow that illuminated around someone's chest. Hearing the voice to match the figure, Ace only smiled more. "Harper! You're in my group, cool!" It would be nice to have a familiar face in the group. It meant that there would be someone easy to talk to, although Inadi seemed like a very curious person- at least all the questions he asked her made it seem that way. She didn't mind the questions though,  they were innocent enough. She caught the rather quiet figure off to the side and after a flash of light, she noticed it was Leila. "Are you alright Leila?" The redhead still didn't know her that well, but she assumed she'd get to know all three of them a little better (maybe excluding Harper) now that they were stuck in a cave together. Zephy was their guide. Ace didn't mind it, but she did think it would have been more interesting to have someone like Vicky as their guide. Then, maybe she could show her how to use the whip. But that was besides the point! There were creatures to tame and monsters to conquer! "What are we waiting here for then? Let's go!"And of course, Ace led the way expecting everyone to follow. Her spot as line leader was taken by Zephy as she claimed to scope out the area for monsters and the likes. She looked around, seeing nothing in sight. And of course, her boredom kicked in. So she started to whistle, listening to the sound echo. "Harper calm down. Heh, nothing is going tojump out at you." When Zephy started lighting the place up, she got a good luck at everyone before examining the crystals. "This is kind of cool." She watched the little fishes... and the ones that weren't so little and smiled. "Ohh." She tapped one of the crystals and they swam away. Mushrooms? Mushrooms. Those were... Odd. "Hey... Harper...?" But before she could deduce that mushrooms in a cave felt out of place even for Nowhere, Harper fell off the now moving mushroom. "Friend or foe?" That was answered when Harper was attacked. "At least it didn't jump out?" She offered as Harper found himself in water. It didn't take long for her to pull out the empty hilt. Her amulet began to glow and she grinned. "It was getting a little quiet anyway." Soon enough, her sword lit aflame and she watched as Leila shot an arrow at the mushroom. "Nice shot Leila!" But she knew it couldn't be that easy. Nothing ever was. And it was proven when the mushroom continued racing forward. "My turn, my turn!" Ace bounced on her toes, pushing herself forward. She and the mushroom were running toward each other, neither slowing down in the game of chicken. At the last minute, Ace side stepped the mushroom in order to bring her fire sword to its stomach. The mushroom was quick though and managed to dodge- not without getting its arm sliced open though. It screeched out when it was hit, and Ace skidded to a halt. There was a small sting on her arm and she looked down to notice one of the claws managed to cut her arm. It wasn't too bad, at least not to Ace's standards. She wasn't bleeding out, so she didn't worry about it. "Tch, lucky shot." She mused and then turned to see the mushroom regenerating its arm back together. "Cheater." She adjusted her hat and whistled as it started to rush towards the others again. Surprisingly, the mushroom took the bait and turned towards the one that burned her. "I think you guys should- whoa," Ace stepped to the side before it lunged at her. "Plan- think of one. You know-" Another dodge. At this point, the two were going in circles as Ace dodged. "Kill something that regenerates." Ace finally finished, irritating the mushroom because it kept missing. "Man, those defense lessons sure came in handy."
