You can make it up I guess, the discharge was caused by Ice boy and fire girl (who Leeroy has now abandoned), so the energy would be similar to what is in the Nexus itself. He might even smell Skallagrim on them. (Smell in this cause being energy, assuming that's how Aether or whatever he uses works)
