While the other two had gone off to formulate a plan, Jarrod turned to face Yggdrasil himself. He tightened his grip on his blade as he stared down the massive beast. Before. Just like before. He had felt insignificant and powerless back then, and that very same feeling returned now. No chance. He grimaced. They stood no chance. Shooting out a burst of wind behind him, Jarrod leapt forward and began hacking slash after slash in rapid succession. Each and every one of them were blocked, not even making a dent or scratch. The dragon reared back and howled once more, sending the swordsman flying back down to the ground. "Return. . .to the source. . .now! Recovering, Jarrod dusted some dirt off of himself. "Yeah, yeah, right, the source. Said the same thing last time I saw you," he muttered. Noticing Angelo taking shelter and Corvain directing the flow of people, Jarrod ran to them as more sprays of fire exploded around him, courtesy of Yggdrasil. "Er, guys? Anyone have a plan or something here? Or as the leader, do I have to make the plans this time?" Well, it would help if he shared what he knew about the great dragon. Which in hindsight, wasn't really much at all. Still, points for trying, right?
