Don't worry. There's going to be a little more to it than that. This may sound ridiculous, but at that time he was in such a rage, that his mind did not completely recognise that he had been hit there. Also, people can survive a projectile to the eye, and it wouldn't be shot, an arrow would be loosed or loosened. (Don't mean to be a dick, I was just saying) But, I will continue that, and he is going to be damaged more. :)
Thank you, I appreciate the reminder that that is the correct way to say "shooting" an arrow.
Although, that whole rage thing? No. I'm sorry. Please, Gcold, reign me in if you think I'm stepping over the line, but please. Please, for the love of S'rendarr and all that is holy, no one has ever not noticed getting an arrow straight to the head. The only known projectile that goes fast enough for one not to notice being shot or at least minimally impaired is a small caliber round, something along the lines of a .22.
An arrow does not have the velocity to go unnoticed until a friend points out that something is sticking out of your face. I appreciate a bit of realism in the RPs I choose to co-GM in. TES is fantasy, I get it, but even people in fantasy bleed, go into shock and other things characteristic of any multi-celled organism.
