Scenario 24: Events Occur In Real Time

Ashlynn had a small table to herself in the dining halls of The Academy. She managed to sneak into her room without Carolyn just a few hours ago, which was an amazing feat. With her helmet on the floor next to her foot, she ate her cereal. Not in silence, as the cereal was rather crunchy (Just Bunches of oat clusters, specifically), mind you.

Her thoughts lingered around the events of last night; the shooting, the 'bombing', and the strange case of Cancer. She had visited him before coming to eat breakfast, only to find him laying 'peacefully' in his bed with his helmet [i]on[/i], which was a bit ridiculous. Cancer entered into a comatose state after blacking out from last night, and he was not responding.
