Okay! I've learned my lesson! I will obey the guides! Gah! Seriously, thank you Jasper. I like living, so I'm really thankful." Riley looked and acted a whole lot like herself and ended up making tons of noise as she moved around with a slight pain shooting up originating from where her previous cuts had been. Wincing and cringing, Jasper was starting to feel slightly uncomfortable as she jerked around. All the commotion she was making caused birds and unknown critters to weave and skitter in and out of the bushes that surrounded them making her shudder in uneasiness. The red head had also left two bloody hand prints on her white robe and the thought of someone else's bodily fluids drying and crusting up on her shoulders just made her feel all the more out of it. Taking a couple shuffles away from Riley who seemed to be going towards her to attempt to wipe some of it off, Jasper just shook her head with a fake grin while she backed up, "No really, its ok.. hehe." She felt relieved when Riley seemed to get the message and brought up searching for their other group mates. Nodding in agreement, it was certainly a good idea to see if there were any others who had fallen down with them... and if those individuals were still alive or not. Ask they maneuvered through the forest, it was quite a pleasant task with the glow in the dark moss lighting up their way as they walked. It was beautiful, but kind of scary. Almost radiating a sort of haunted house aura. Not too sure on when it began, but the ground was sensibly trembling, a faint humdrum of stomping could be heard from a distance. at first, Jasper mistook it for her heartbeat, but soon the footsteps combined with the sound of trees getting cracked was becoming alarmingly loud and its proximity closing in every move they made away from it. suddenly her worst fears were answered when a terrifying “RAAAAAAAAAAGH!” thundered throughout the trees. It rustled every plantation insight, leaves fluttering to the ground and even more animals scuttling out of their hiding place away from the roar. 'That can't be good...', she was feeling sick to her stomach. Jasper stayed even closer to Riley as they picked up the pace and soon spotted the boys through a thicket of violet foliage. Parting the bush to create an opening, the two girls shrunk back in terror as they watched a giant tree trunk coming flying towards the three males, miss, and come sailing in front of their eyes and onto its fellow trees, toppling them over like dominoes. Large roots were yanked out of the ground and Jasper was way too afraid to even look and see what kind of monster was able to even throw that thing. Inching out of their hiding spot, Haku, Lesley, and Leon, stood in a line Haku at the front. Jasper joined the line up feeling extra safe with three other guys in front of her for added blockage. The green-skinned orc made her turn green in the face herself. Usually, Jasper wasn't one to judge, but that thing sure looked hideous. It was even clothed in a suit of armor along with a weapon and a shield. 'What's his problem? We never did anything..' It felt like everywhere the humans went, creatures wanted to fight them at every encounter. It's not like they ever really did anything to provoke an attack. Maybe that's just how Nowhere worked. Lesley, go protect Jasper. She can’t do it herself. Oi, Bear! Heal us up every now and then when you notice we’ve gone down to two thirds of our original amount.” Taking her spot behind Lesley, the two scurried off to the side and Jasper sat down to regenerate her own amulet to be able to provide for the others. She kept a close eye on all of their amulets, mentally devoting herself to keeping track of their essence usage. Not wanting to be a burden to Lesley and hold him back from helping with offensive attacks, she shooed him away, "Go on. I can handle myself. Put some damage on that thing!" she shoved him towards the others hoping that the orc wouldn't see her and choose her as its next target.
