For a bunch of humans that were supposed to put up a fight, this group was awfully meek. Well, no matter. Their submissiveness would only serve to make it easier for the orc, R’ktash, to gather them all in one fell swoop for today’s dinner. One of the humans started sending spires of ice towards him, and while the cold sensation biting against his skin was slightly unpleasant, all orcs were born with thick skin and the attacks barely stung. R’ktash snarled and advanced towards the pesky ice mage who kept moving away from him, only to have a pair of good-sized fireballs slam into him. As the smoke dissipated the humans watched as the remnants of Riley’s attack was sucked into the orc’s armband. Unlike the usual magic accessories so commonly features in games, his bands did not have the gems that they could have deduced to be the source of his power, therefore rendering the orc’s current immunity to magic unbreakable. He flashed his prey a toothy grin before stomping once. The ground shook and some of the humans fell. Another stomp and chunks of earth burst everywhere. Small trees were uprooted and fell over one after the other, but apparently that wasn’t the start of everything. R’ktash’s colorless eyes focused on Hakuren and he advanced, his sword trailing on the cracked ground. As he got nearer and nearer the mage he charged, the very forest shaking with every step the orc took. Unfortunately Leon was in the way, and while at first it looked like the human was going to end up a bloody mess of guts and flesh, the orc skidded to a stop and used his shield to bash the human away. Leon flew away a few meters and crashed against a tree. Just as he was about to attack both Hakuren and Lesley, seeing as how the latter was still cowering behind the mage, a tree of considerable size fell in front of them. It was both their barricade and a roadblock, seeing as how they were cornered against an even bigger tree there was no foreseeable method of escape, and almost as if R’ktash knew this he began slashing at the log to cut it in two. So busy was he in his wood chopping activity that he left himself exposed.
