Thaum?: Group C The hole was void of light. If he really had to describe it, he would guess that it was a black capsule, and that he was on the very bottom. He forgot when, but at some point Lute decided to just give in and curled up with his knees against his chin like a child huddling from the cold. “Pet… Stay there… Can’t hurt… Anybody-” Was it just him, or did that voice sound like Delilah’s? Lute cringed when something touched his arm. He looked up to see that girl from earlier, and that the dark space around him was gone. The darkness was replaced by fog, though… He continued staring up at Xandra with his eyes narrowed, expecting her to self-combust or for some faceless warrior to burst in out of nowhere and behead her. He felt oddly relieved and comforted that she remained fine after a few minutes. He got up to his feet and nodded. “I am… fine.” How ironic; he was fine, but everyone was either murdered or decapitated. “Are you?” Lute asked silently as they started walking together. In time, they finally found the others, mainly because it was so quiet that it was hard to miss Lucien’s incoherent, teary babbling. Amy, Dylan, Lucien, Xandra. He turned to the girl by his side and then returned his gaze to the group, a pained expression on his face. Maybe a heavy weight would fall on top of them all… That could be the reason why Xandra wasn’t dead yet. He shook his head at the thought and then stepped closer to their circle. “Does anyone have any injuries?” Lute asked just to make himself feel less alienated from everything. Hell, he’d sing if that would make him forget the things he saw earlier and make him stop associating those events with the people standing right here and now.
